Hi all it’s going to be a beautiful warm day tomorrow, come & join us at Potters Steak House for a beautiful roast lunch or maybe a tender steak or just come and relax in our tranquil surroundings. We look forward to seeing you 😊

Not been here before & to be honest was always a bit put off by the name & exterior (which I don’t think looks hugely welcoming) but my sister booked here for a family pre-Xmas dinner & I honestly now can’t praise the restaurant highly enough. There was 14 of us, we did pre-order but all of the food was correct, served on time & delicious. The decor & atmosphere was great & the staff, especially Stuart, were hugely welcoming & attentive. We all had a great meal & a really lovely family afternoon and will definately be going back. If you’ve not been, give it a try!

I have been here twice for lunch with my husband. On both occasions service and food were excellent. But it was almost empty which is a great shame, one of my friends was keen to try it but she has a dog and despite the fact there is excellent outside space, dogs are not allowed which is ridiculous. Wine and food very reasonably priced and decor is amazing and clean, it is huge but made up of smaller areas so it doesnt feel barnlike. Loved t znd hope to return with friends.

Food was served promptly, served hot and was very top notch, and the prices are reasonable. The portions are huge (both my wife and I had a starter to share, I had steak with extra onion rings, my wife had ribs). So much so, we couldn't finish our mains!. The setting is lovely too, and would imagine it is very popular in the summer time.



We would recommend this restaurant to our family and friends, and will be going again soon.

Lovely food, lovely space, clean. Friendly helpful waiters. Only bad point was we were the only ones there so while it was nice to have the place to ourselves it felt a bit weird and lost some of the atmosphere.

Go to this restaurant quite regularly always friendly and food always great hot and the service is great Stuart is a very friendly waiter

Recently decorated, very smart, food good, staff excellent, shame the place was empty. More people should go its improved no end

Don’t be fools by opening times when you go for food, they stop serving food between 3-5pm so when we got there we just had a drink by the canal which was nice but really wanted something to eat as we hadn’t been there before. Ended up going else where for late lunch/ early dinner.

Really awful Christmas dinner ! The soup was awful , the Christmas dinner tasted burnt and was not edible , out of 8 of us only one ate it as they were so hungry .....the pudding , some were dressed with rasberrys others were just plain ....staff done nothing but moan that they were a chef down ..the table had no tablecloth , the crackers we're miserable , no Christmas decorations on table ....the staff were Moody and not at all in the Christmas spirit. It was a total waste of money , we could of gone somewhere else and got a better meal and service . To be honest it ruined our whole Christmas day ! Very disappointing and would not recommend it at all !!!!!
