We are a fully equipped and dedicated state of the art Pilates studio offering small group matwork classes, Reformer classes and Pilates on large studio apparatus. Bespoke private tuition also available. Our classes are suitable for for all levels.

Welcome to Poundbury Pilates, a dedicated and fully equipped Pilates Studio idyllically situated in Poundbury’s Buttermarket near Dorchester, Dorset. The studio boasts state-of-the-art Pilates equipment with four studio Reformers newly imported from America. Experience the full depth and breadth of Pilates as it was originally intended on this ingenious piece of apparatus and reap the benefits of improved body shape, tone and posture. Matwork classes use small equipment including Pilates Arc, light weights, balls and bands for total body conditioning. Bespoke private appointments are available for Pilates with a remedial approach or to target specific needs and goals. All classes are taught by studio owner, Ruth Cowell an experienced Pilates Foundation Teacher. Pilates Foundation is recognised by the NHS Trusts Association in its Directory of Health Care Providers.
