It doesn't seem 5 minutes since our last Velo Orange delivery from across the pond and today landed another one! Among lots of other good stuff we have the ever-popular Crazy Bars back in stock, a full stock of the beautiful Cigne gooseneck stem and also a new product - the Nouveau Randonneur Handlebar - a relaxed geometry drop handlebar with OS clamp bulge - we think this will be popular with the touring, audaxing, gravelling kind of rider!

Drop Bar mounted friction ratchet derailleur shifters! These are brand new from Dia Compe - the ENE Wing Shifters! These are in stock now.
These allow you to shift front and rear derailleur from your handlebars on any derailluer upto and including 11 speed - Shimano or Campag. They are not compatible with SRAM.

New hub in stock from Sturmey Archer! The X-RK4 is a four speed Rotary Hub Gear compatible with 6 bolt disk rotors. It has a 135mm OLN spacing which makes it rather good for fitting to MTB frames. We travelled a long way to see these bikes as could not get one locally. Zaynan was very friendly, helpful and certainly knew his stuff and was very happy for us to try all of the bikes with no pressure. Ordering was easy, he even delivered it 250 miles! Excellent service and a lovely bike! Would highly recommend.

Never bought a whole bike from PC, but know those who have, and have myself bought loads of parts. I keep returning for parts and accessories despite owning a bike shop myself! I do so because Zaynan stocks the stuff that the rather poor UK trade suppliers don’t. Stuff for my kind of bikes!

I had an accident while touring in Wales a while back, and needed a new front rack where I'd damaged the existing one. Although this was a fairly low-cost item, Practical Cycles couldn't have been more helpful, very sympathetic on the phone as to my situation and then sent out the new rack to the campsite where I was staying without delay. In my experience, they went beyond what would normally be expected and I highly recommend this family run firm and trust their judgement and service.
