Did you see Margaret on This Morning? She is topping the iTunes charts along with a member of staff from the care home she lives in.
Music can really help those with dementia, bringing back memories that people can lose along the way. Regardless of whether you suffer from memory loss, music is also good for the soul and can make you feel better.
PramaLife currently use music within a number of their clubs including all the Memory Lane groups. As well as this, a newly launc...hed Music Project will take music out to existing PramaLife groups, and new groups will be set up around music.
As part of this project, PramaLife are looking for local musicians who would like to volunteer to play their instruments and get involved with these groups. It doesn't matter which genre of music you perform or what instrument you play.
Get in touch with Diana, our Music Project Coordinator, on 07716 991618 if you would like to hear more.
