This might be the saddest thing I’ve posted this year......
Firstly - thank you to those people who have already donated Easter Eggs for the food bank. They make lots of little people with tough lives feel loved and happy 😁
However - I’ve seen families this month who don’t expect to have any money for another 2 or 3 weeks. Chocolate is lovely but their kids genuinely need food.
... If you were thinking of donating a small Easter Egg - maybe consider spending that £1 on a bag of apples or satsumas, some frozen chips or fish fingers, a jelly, some cheese crackers......
Don’t underestimate what some of our families see as a treat. A little girl got all excited because I gave her a tin of spaghetti hoops last week 😥😥 if we can treat kids with things that also fill them up we’re making an even bigger difference.

So sorry to ask again....
Our first food bank of the Easter hols this morning and I’ve used all the meat and nearly all the bags of veg in our freezer.
If anyone is able to donate any meat or veg products this week we would be so grateful.

Wish I'd found this place months ago.

I've been looking to fully kit out my new house as I'm starting from scratch, and was amazed by the quality of the items.

Got 2 sofas that looked brand new for £138 for both, and a top quality cotbed for £50.

I'll never throw any furniture out again and will probably never buy new again.

This place isn't cheap second hand tat, it's good quality stuff donated by people who want to upgrade, and I'd like to take my hat off to the owners for coming up with such an amazing idea to help normal people like me out.

Went in today and got a sofa, bedside cabinet and some bits of bric a brack. Really pleased with all the bits I got and looking forward to putting it all together in my new flat. Didn't find a chest of draws in the style/size I wanted but I will definitely be popping back in and keeping am eye out as there is new items every day!!!

Staff were lovely and friendly and very helpful :)

We had a sofa bed it is great and we go nearly every week you never know

Thank you so much for all the assorted materials and lace I picked up yesterday from your scrap store. Our babies in the nursery will love the different fabrics in their treasure baskets and the older children will love using materials for...amongst other things, den making and creating their own range of fashion designs for the catwalk which are their current interests. The range of materials available from Kathy at Preen is vast. Thank you for enabling our children’s curiosity, imagination and creativity.

Staff are helpful and polite and always there to help u. They go out of there way to make sure u get wat u need and want. I love preloved furniture and preens is the place to go better than other places good prices too.

Not only are there prices fantastic the staff are kind, caring, professional and polite and go above and beyond to help every single one of there customers. I highly recommended preen to all my friends and family and would highly recommend it to anyone out there looking for a good deal. It is well worth going to preen so you can see just how great they are for yourself.

Helping so many people access the essentials of life ready to use from PREEN shop floor. Friendly staff and volunteers too! Its a "must visit" at least once a month. Seasonal items available too!

Finally made it over to Preen last weekend, amazing selection of items. I usually buy pretty much everything second hand, from charity shops and eBay. This is going to be added to my list of regular spots to visit and will definitely be back soon for some Christmas gifts and crockery �

Always happy to help! Preen has been an excellent help for my family. We always find a useful bargain, and items are lovely. Thanks to Preen we can have a lovely home without worrying about the pennies. Staff are helpful and friendly too, they always have a smile on their faces. We are so pleased to have a place like Preen to visit. In tough times and in opposite, Preen is a backbone for our community.

I came in yesterday to ask if you wanted any donations. I said they were in the car and pre bagged for you to look through. I found your mannerisms extremely rude. You were abrupt and I felt that you were looking through the bags with disdain. When ever I have been into browse or purchase you have always been friendly and welcoming but once found I was here to donate your whole body language changed.

I’m aware your not the local dump and I thought of you rather than the local charity shops but after my experience yesterday I’ll be donating to them instead.

Staff are rude and blunt
