Preesall Carter'S Charity Primary School Description

We are a semi-rural school on the Lancashire coast overlooking Morecambe Bay with the Lake District to the north.
We are the ONLY Beach School and lessons are often held on the beach which is at the end of our field.
We strive for the best for our children - we expect them to work hard, to have fun, to be taught well and to receive and exciting and challenging curriculum.

Thanks to everyone who came to yesterday's parents' evening. We do hope you all found it informative and helpful. The company that provides the book fair has agreed to allow us to keep the units until next week to cover the postponed event next Monday. If you are looking for some Christmas presents, then look no further! https://bookfairs.scholastic.co.uk/travel ling-boo…/the-books

It's tomorrow!!! Bring & Buy Sale in school from 2:00pm until 4:00pm. We are asking for donations of children’s dress-up outfits, toys, DVDs (age appropriate), CDs and games - but not books, as we are having a good as new book stall at the Christmas Fair. Children In Need Plans! On Thursday, 15th November, we will be having a Bring & Buy Sale in school from 2:00pm until 4:00pm. Children can come to school on the next day, Friday 16th November, in a spotty outfit in exchange for a donation (minimum £1) towards our school’s fundraising challenge for Children in Need. It is not a general own clothes day – we’ve still got work to do! – please no football kits or inappropriate footwear but lots and lots of spots! In the morning, there is something extremely exciting planned but it’s a secret so … sssssh!

Over the next few days, we will recognise and remember the contributions to our freedom and lives that brave servicemen and servicewomen have made over the years. We will be thinking of all of the sacrifices made as we stand together in silent thought. #LestWeForget

My son, Sam Robinson attends here, even though we have moved some distance away we wouldn't dream of moving him from such a first class establishment.

I am a local dog walker, who also runs rainbows! I just passed a group from your school on the sea wall. They were all very polite and well behaved! I said hello to some girls who used to come to Rainbows, which did confuse them because I wasn't in my uniform! A great set of ambassadors for your school - well done.

Emily only has 2 more days at Carter's and she has loved every second of it. Never once in the time she has been there has she ever said the words 'I don't want to go to school', she has jumped out of bed with a spring in her step every single day. She has thrived in every single school year and took something special from each class and teacher. I can't thank everyone at Carter's over the past 7 years enough for making Emily's primary school time so special. We are so proud of how much she has achieved and I know she will find Thursday one of her hardest days to date! Thank you to everyone at Carter's for all you have done and still do for all of our girls. x x x x x
