Today our first hotel on the island of Jersey opens its doors to guests. On Friday we had a very special group of "inspectors" visiting from St Lawrence school, to give it their seal of approval!

Very comfortable ,lovely clean room and bathroom. Ideally situated for shops , bars and restaurants and the Christmas market . Restaurant is lovely . Very tastefully decorated. Breakfast was very nice. My only criticism is that they were slow to top up the hot food dishes. They should keep a better eye on how much is left and have more food ready to top up. I would stay here again when visiting Manchester . Very pleasant staff.

Never stayed at a premier inn before but I will defernatley being staying again . The staff were very friendly and nothing was to much trouble. Dinner was from 6pm but we had to leave at 6.30 to get to our night out and they opened the restaurant early for us. Food was also fantastic and The buffet breakfast was also 5 star. The room was clean and spacious and the mattress was fantastic . I am going to buy a hipnos mattress as it's the best night sleep I've had and the first time I've not woken with back pain . Well done premier inn.

I love this Premier Inn as the staff are amazing. I was sad not to see Paulo on this visit as he is a legend but he was on a 1st Aid Course. The evening meal was excellent and the waitresses really friendly. See you again Portland Street.

I love staying there it feels like home the service is excellent and most importantly the staff are so friendly and helpful and it's all this that makes it so enjoyable I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone I love it xxxx

I have stayed in the Atlantis hotel in Dubai. Ive been to sone of the best places in the world. In some of the best hotels but i can hand on heart say i have never had staff treat me and the people i was with so well. Particularly becky who went above and beyond to look after us! Top notch.

I have never really been able to fault a Premier Inn and this one was pretty damn good. Having to use door cards for lifts and stairways was a fab feature ensuring you felt safe. Breakfast amazing as always and despite being bang in the middle of the city, it was so so quiet in the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful too. Will be back for sure. A top quality place for a really great price.

Fab location. Lovely and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Spacious and comfy room. LOVED the bed, so comfortable. Big towels. Cannot fault it.

Excellent accomodation staff were 1st class will be staying here again.

Brilliant service went above and beyond we checked in online and got there for 1230 and they had a room ready for us and the receptionist jade and kelly they are a asset to premier inn they make u laugh and make u feel welcome the rooms are very clean and comfy and the breakfast are amazing overall don't go anywhere else for a hotel go to here they are what you expect from a hotel

You have to give it 5 just for cleanliness.



Comfortable room, every we needed, good free Wi-fi, nice Samsung TV, with usb plug.



Like the extra pillows.



I knocked one star off as I particularly toilet cistern took ages to fill, and I’m sure you can understand that could lead to embarrassment.

This is the second time we've stayed at the Portland road Premier visiting our son and cannot fault it at all. Staff friendly and helpful and breakfast excellent with everything you need and want. No hesitation in staying again...keep doing what you're doing..

I arrived at the hotel having previously booked in online which is a excellent idea ! Entered my details into a computer and received my key card which I was told is to be used for room , lift and front door and in the room to put the power on . Room was clean and tidy and very spacious and comfortable for my needs and the bed and mattress led to a great nights sleep only spoilt by local work going on in the area and starting fairly early in the morning !, hotel is very handily situated for transport links and bars and restaurants , only gripe I have is the wi fi was very hit and miss

In fact my iPad didn’t connect once quite annoying when your asked to pay for a upgrade for a better service !!

Great location, speedy check in. Very helpful and friendly reception staff. Had dinner in the restaurant, orders taken quickly, waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu, explained the meal deal, which is a great deal by the way, starter, main or main and pud & breakfast the next day for £23.99. Considering average cost of a main alone was around £12-15 I thought this was a great offer. Only thing I though that was bad customer service in the restaurant was they had no draft soft drinks so when we ordered wine spritzers we were informed there was no draft soft drinks, and told we would have to buy a bottle of pop, I would suggest as it's the restaurant that cannot provide a service by not being able to provide any mixers on draft, that they would have just opened a bottle to make the drink the customer wanted instead of the expecting them to pay £2.75 extra for a bottle of pop on top of the cost of their drink. Room was comfy and clean as was the bathroom. I would stay here again and recommend. I found it good value for money.

Stayed last night, the room we were given was right next to a massive building site, no peace and quiet during the afternoon, also the free WiFi available in the room was non existent.

When we complained about the WiFi we were told to phone their provider to complain!

When we said it was their job to sort it out, they reluctantly said they would phone but the guy we spoke to said there was WiFi reception on his phone so there was no problem, even though we could not get it in our room or in reception.

Have stayed at this hotel many times, but will not be returning.

yummy sticky toffee pudding at Thyme Restaurant in Manchester last night. spot the big plastic piece?? luckily it was me that nearly choked than my 4 year old!!
