Sat &/or Sun person required for Dressage Stud in Duns Tew, North Oxon. Must be competent handling stallions and youngstock.

Usual daily yard tasks include mucking out, putting horses on and off the walker, turning horses out, sweeping, grooming etc. The role may also involve preparing horses for exercise and untacking/cooling off, preparing horses for competition, assisting with exercise of horses (i.e schooling, hacking and lunging).

Wins all round at Allens Hill Competition and Livery Centre on Saturday for BKS Cleopatra (FOR SALE) and Nika & Luisa CollinsŌĆÖ Curioso.
Cleopatra topped both the Elementary Qualifier and Medium 69 by a substantial margin with an overall win in each on 67% and 66% respectively. Just her third outing at Medium level with lots more to come.
Nika contested the Advanced Medium and PSG on Curioso achieving a win in both with an improvement of 2% at only their second attempt at PSG, gaining a PB of 63%. Good day at the office!!

BKS Cleopatra (for sale) received her Regional Champs Qualification today at Elem Gold ­¤æÅ­¤æÅ

Fabulous outing for BKS Cleopatra (FOR SALE) and Curioso a few weeks back to a new venue for us, and a beautiful one at that - Onley Grounds Equestrian Centre
Cleo gained the highest score of the day under a seemingly tough judge in her Elementary 59 with 70.93% and an overall win ­¤źć Gaining 8s for halts and reinback! She was a little tired going into her second ever Medium test so her half-passes werenŌĆÖt as fluid as they can be, but still picked up 2nd! ­¤źł Not a foot wrong all day!
Nika and Curioso braved their first EVER PSG! And won!! A couple of green blips but some nice work showing a lot of promise, including a 7 for a line of tempis! Good day at the office!!

Slightly belated post!! Finally collecting photos from a brilliant MCI European Championship....
We were heavily involved with the organisation of the championships, so we were somewhat busy during the build-up to, and throughout, the event. A huge relief that it went so smoothly with great feedback from all!
Definitely the saying 'work hard, play harder' was firmly adhered to; in classic MCI style! ­¤śé­¤Öł­¤ć¬­¤ć║­¤ÄČ­¤źé­¤Æā­¤Ģ║­¤Å┐­¤źé­ ¤Äē ... And amongst the hard-work and fun, we also managed to have an unbelievably successful show!
Karen Bourdon's Deseado CCV exceeded all expectations by achieving three podium places:
- PSG (Madrid) ­¤źē(67.44%) - Inter 1 FSM (Lusitania) ­¤źł(72.33%) - Overall European Championship (combined scores) ­¤źł­¤Åå­¤ć«­¤ć¬
Having only been back in the game since the end of July and after just three outings I was utterly delighted with such great results and feedback in a field of super combinations and in front of five top judges (including some FEI*s!). With a PB of 76.75% from the Dutch FEI judge ­¤Äē He just keeps getting better and stronger each time out ­¤śā
We have our first Irish Squad training next week and will knuckle down with some training to try and get out at Inter 2 soon ­¤Æ¬­¤Æ¬
Nika contested the Advanced Medium level classes with Luisa Collins' Curioso.
After a fantastic season winning practically everything entered (!!), Nika had a disappointing first test on a tricky Curioso (Q). She rode her socks off but sadly Q was spooked by movement in the audience early on which lead to tension and mistakes. However the good bits were great with the flying changes a highlight!
Q redeemed himself in the FSM (Fandango) clocking up a brilliant 4th with over 68%, despite some tension creeping in, which pulled him up to 8th overall in the European Championships!! We all know how well he can do and we just have to put it down to it just not being his show this time.
Since, Nika and Q have been beavering away ready for their PSG debut (!!!­¤Äē­¤Äē­¤Äē) very soon ­¤æÅ­¤æÅ­¤æÅ­¤Æ¬
All in all, a brilliant show - highlights included: being part of the winning hobby horse arena steeplechase relay team (­¤żŻ), the 'Nations Night' buffet, an interview with Horse & Country and more importantly - catching up with all our dressage pals ­¤ÆĢ And to top it off, MCI GB gained Team Silver! ­¤źł

Well!!! Truly a day of firsts yesterday at Hunters! Nika & Luisa Collins' Curioso gained a PB and a win in their section in the AM 98 with over 67% before contesting their first EVER Advanced test! Not only did they achieve their goal of a qualifying score to ride at PSG, but they absolutely nailed their test gaining a whopping 72.05% to finish 2nd. The pair have come on so much in the last 3 months with particular highlights being the canter pirouettes and 4x changes ­¤źé­¤æÅ­¤æÅ­¤æÅ­¤Æ¬­¤Äē...
Adding to our theme of firsts was BKS Cleopatra's first Medium test. Enormously proud of her gaining over 66% and picking up 3rd. Bags more to come from her, not a foot wrong and not far off the winner! Great to reach the 'Medium' milestone having produced this pony myself from an unbacked 3 year old ­¤Öé Looking forward to the next outing on this talented pony!
And lastly, at the grand old age of 30 - I finally drove the lorry with horses in for the first time on the way home! ­¤śé

Delighted that Deseado's beautiful 2 year old colt, Dexter (Dominante PPD), has found a fantastic home with Emily at Dovecote. He was an absolute lamb to travel for the first time and settled in immediately! We look forward to seeing their progress and wish them the best of luck for the future.

Desy enjoying a spa day after a good effort yesterday in the final MCI qualifier before the Europeans in 2 weeks time! Great scores - particularly for his canter work, receiving a whisker under 70% in the PSG FSM! ­¤Öé

With the deadline just around the corner, thankfully we achieved a solid final score to complete Des' MCI European qualification at PSG level at Addington yesterday. At only his third outing this year we managed a relatively tidy round for a 67.1% and a red one, leaving us in 3rd position in the GB League table with an average of 67.33%. Still working on his fitness and strength but all heading in the right direction ­¤Öé

DREAM PONY FEI PROSPECT BKS CLEOPATRA
Stunning 2011 Westplalian palomino mare by the multi-champion German Pony Stallion, Casino Royale K. Cleopatra is extremely eye-catching with three good paces and huge potential as an FEI/BYRDS pony. Cleo is currently successfully competing at Elementary Gold, having achieved four WINS in her first three outings at this level with scores of 69+%. She qualified for the Novice Gold Regional Championships in 2017 with scores of up to 75%, ga...ining 9s for her Medium trot, where she was just outside the top in a highly competitive class. As a 5 year old she won the BD Young Pony qualifier at Addington Premier League, gaining a 9 for her walk. She then went on to achieve Reserve 5 year old National Champion at the Finals held at the Hartpury Festival of Dressage. Last year Cleo gained 4th place in the BD Young Pony 6 year old National Championships. Cleo is working at Medium level at home with shoulder-in, travers and simple-changes established. She has great work-ethic and shows the scope to achieve top level pony competition. Cleo has been exposed to many big atmospheres including several Premier Leagues and a Regional Championship and she takes it all in her stride. She is ready to compete at Medium level and would be an ideal candidate for Pony FEI in 2019. Cleo has so much more to give and we have no doubt this pony will take her next rider to the top. She has a sweet temperament and adores attention. Easy to handle, load, plait, turnout, catch and loves to hack both on her own and with company. Full history known; British bred and purchased from her breeder as a 3 year old - she has been carefully and professionally produced at home.
Pedigree: Her sire, Casino Royale K, became Champion of the Weser-Ems Stallion Licensing in 2007, with standing ovations from the crowd. He received high praise from the licensing committee, particularly for his very good type and excellent paces, especially his ŌĆ£spectacularly impressive trotŌĆØ and hindleg action. His sire FS Champion De Luxe needs little introduction. He was licensing and performance test champion (receiving four 10s), double Bundeschampion, three times Federal Stallion Show winner and is a Federal Premium stallion. Casino Royale KŌĆÖs dam, state-premium mare Raffaela K, was champion mare in Weser-Ems in 2000 and German Mare Show champion 2000. Casino Royale K is full brother to the state-premium candidate Rapsody K, the licensed stallion Cream de Luxe, and the top priced foal at the first Elite Pony Sale in Germany in 2007, Rolanda K.
