Welcome to Prestfelde – an independent preparatory school in Shrewsbury for children aged 3 to 13. Based in 30 acres of quiet parkland conveniently located on the edge of the county town we are a thriving and forward-thinking prep school and one of the UK's leading independent schools. With a reputation for academic excellence but also offering a broad-based education suitable for every child. Primarily a day school with the option of flexible and weekly boarding, there are approximately 350 boys and girls at the school. There is an average class size of 15 children, and no class exceeds 20.
