Preston Marriott Hotel

Nice enough, very small pool. Not quite as nice as you would expect from a Marriott but certainly no dump. Breakfast is very good,good range on offer at buffet and is open to all not just guests.

Had amazing time & staff so friendly + helpful. Walk through back entrance & lovely young lady welcome us with big smile on her face. Rather than pointing her finger how to get to places in the hotel, she took us on a tour around the hotel & showed us where all the facilities were. Would definitely come back again.

Absolutely amazing attention to detail from the staff at Preston Marriott. Have never stayed at a hotel where all the staff were so attentive to guests with outstanding customer service. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. The food was delicious. The room service was slick and efficient and the food served in the room was to the highest standard and hot. The spa staff were attentive with quality good value for money treatments. It was lovely to be made to feel very special for a night. Thank you to all the staff for making our celebration birthday spa treat so fantastic. Special thank yous to Paul at reception, Peter the Engineering Manager and Francesco.

Stayed for 1 night with my wife and 2 children. Very enjoyable stay. Staff very polite, rooms were clean and well equipped and breakfast range was excellent. When you consider the cost of breakfast (came free) and late checkout, the cost of staying at the hotel would work out the same as your local travel Inn but better accommodation to boot. Would visit again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful with nothing too much trouble. The room was spacious and very clean, the food and drinks were reasonably priced and really tasty. Breakfast was exceptional and, even though we'd missed the hot buffet, I got a full English without any hassle and it was brilliant. The whole stay was so good, we're considering another one before we head home at the end of our week.

Had a spa day with a friend. A lovely warm welcome, the pool area was clean and inviting. The Stan room was out of service but these things happen and didn't effect out visit. The back and neck massage was exceptional, best I've ever had. Overall a fantastic day and would highly recommend

Went to this hotel for its wedding fair and open day. There was a good range of exhibitors there for the fair but the hotel was not set up for an open day...they had one small room set for a wedding ceremony but this was clearly an after thought as no effort had been made. There was no indication as to where this room was and no staff were even in the room on viewing. Clearly not interested in trying to get custom for a wedding as surely they would be making the most of the opportunity?! Disappointed to say the least.

My son contracted D&V the night before due to stay, totally out my hands scenario. They refused to refund me even though they are totally full and could fill the room. They said they were happy for me to still take my sick son to the hotel as they are not going to refund me. Unbelievable

Visited for a spa day as my sister had on a voucher, couldn't really see much on the website regarding the facility however there was only 1 pool with two small Jacuzzis. The steam room and sauna was nice and clean and I had a facial which was lovely and very professional. Would definitely recommend if looking for somewhere to spend a couple of hours.
