Whether birthdays or banter over dinner, make it a celebration with #Prezzo like Val Luker and Paul Barrett did!
What an amazing experience, weather was fabulous to be in the esplanade enjoying the sun, food was very tasteful and warm, staff did a pretty good job , they were very busy , definitely a must return. Got more fan of prezzo. Excellent experience.
We had a fabulous early evening supper with our grandchildren and their parents. Being Bank Holiday we had pre booked (advisable) the restaurant was very busy but that didn't stop the staff from being helpful and friendly. The food was excellant. The children's menu had great variety even to the point they created a child's portion of a pasta dish that wasn't on kids menu.
Great choice of wine. It was altogether a lovely evening and superb value for money.
The meal was very nice -no complaints with the service...no soup spoon only a dessert spoon a minor issue ! But the only thing is that a table for two soon becomes three tables with six people far too close- you may as well push them together because everyone is on top of each other. It depends on who speaks the loudest! I hate eating my meal with other people I don't know when I've gone out for a special meal or something - I know it's a choice to eat in public but I think the tables are far too close togethether😠
Lovely sea view in a spacious restaurant overlooking the sea... food, was very appetising, well presented and served by friendly staff. We washed dinner down with a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc which was not as good as a similar bottle purchased just up the road for £5 less !
Excellent location overlooking the sea and good service and food especially with discount vouchers!
We had to ask to order our starters, ask twice for missing drinks, were there an hour and three quarters before we got our mains, staff didn't seem very friendly at all, they may have been understaffed. Redeeming note, the food really was fabulous as always.
The food was really fabulous..it's quite expensive but worth it with the Deal for kids eating for £1 with a full paying adult. The setting and cleanliness was very nice the only criticism for me was the coldness and lack of friendliness shown from the staff that were involved in serving us.. we had a disabled child with us..and they didn't offer the ramp or any help.. our waiter couldn't even smile and was so so slow in taking orders. Shame when the food was quality.
On the plus side we were offered a table for 4 on a Monday evening straight away and it was outside.. attentive waitress and starter came quickly. Downside was the main - I had Mushroom risotto which was basically like a soggy rice pudding and mushrooms few and far between. Apart from that the venue was lovely .
Not too bad. Have had better carbonara, it was a bit greasy which I have never experienced anywhere else. Pudding was nice, starter was average but the service was fair.
The drinks were very expensive. £2.75 for a glass of lemonade!
Mixed feelings really were told when we got there at 7pm on a Bank Holiday Monday that they had already run out of Pizza dough which meant no pizzas or garlic bread which limited our options. Service was slow due to how busy it was however the food when it came was very nice apart from the Alaska Cake which was frozen solid and needed a chainsaw to cut into it. Luckily the Tescos vouchers made the cost of the meal more bearable
Booked a table of six for my friends to celebrate my birthday.
Very disappointing.. Firstly Service not very good. Then I found out I couldn't use my free "birthday"Prosecco voucher against any other offers which seemed unfair...... To honour this one person had to order off main menu which we did and wasn't a problem but we were not told of this first off by our waitress...
My pizza was quite dry and not the best.
Not one to make a
Habit of complaining but on this occasion it was not great.
I won't be rushing back!
We were a large family group which had preordered our food we added one more person which sent the waiter into a total mental down he was very rude and infact decided he wasn't to serve us. The service was very average food over cooked half of it forgotten overall disappointing . If we ever went again would NOT go to broadstairs!!!
Poor service. Took an hour for 1 of the meals to come out by which time everybody else had finished eating.
Lovely food shame about the waiter, lack of customer service everything was to much trouble for him did not make us feel welcome more like an inconvenience!
I keep coming back hoping it would improve and would be like the first time I visited, but the service is slow and the food is just average, we had no cutlery, my pizza was uncut and tasted like cardboard and my ice cream was so hard I had to cut it with a knife. My husbands spicy calzone had hardly any filling and wasn’t spicy at all. We won’t be eating in this restaurant again
Go to a pizza place only to be told no pizzas, asked for meat balls and pasta, very greasy and not nice. Staff walking pass you when you want to talk to them.
When arrived there tonight I said to the barmaid I have a table booked for 4.30 for a male staff member to shout at me “im on the phone” we said to the barmaid was he talking to us for him to shout again I’m on the phone when he got off the phone he had a go at us for talking while he was on the phone . We left with my 3 year old son crying his eyes out.
Italian restaurant?!?!?! Are you kidding?
Just disgusting. Oil every where in the plate, the waitress had her hands inside my plate. Our pasta was too cooked and tasted like vomit, our risotto has the same consistence as vomit and tasted like gas. You'll throw away your money. Trust me, I'm Italian and I know what I'm talking about. Never again
Horrific level of service, have eaten here plenty of times. Tonight was the last, one waitresses hardly spoke, one walked over to take order then walked off. The other could only take a drinks order not our starters or mains, Rude and clearly untrained. Food was warm at best with the chips tasting like fish. My wife’s meal cold and goey. This all topped up by tables around us not being served and people say unhappy and without food. Staff need training and to be able to speak and understand English. Would be nice if the food wasn’t slammed down in front of people and at least ask if there is anything else they can help with before disappearing. Seriously unimpressed!
