Whether birthdays or banter over dinner, make it a celebration with #Prezzo like Val Luker and Paul Barrett did!
We went for an early dinner at 6:00pm, after booking a table online before going to see a show at the Apex. We needn't have bothered, as it was almost empty. The waitress was very helpful and polite and both our drinks and main course arrived very quickly. It was perfect, very tasty and hot. We would certainly be happy to return for another meal if we were in the vicinity.
Thoroughly enjoyed my Meal, considering the area was so busy yesterday because of the Xmas Fayre ,the staff were rushed of their feet but still very attentive. Hope to visit again when I come to Suffolk.Thankyou.
The food was great and the staff was very nice... my only issue was the table of 8 or more women that were so loud my husband and I couldn't hear eachother talk lol but we will definitely go again :)
We ate at Prezzos in Bury St Edmunds. Very good service and food. Had a good gluten free menu to choose from.
The staff were welcoming and friendly.
I would have given 5 star but the only let down was the temperature in the restaurant, it felt very cold, my daughter had to keep her coat on!!
Visited on Sunday with a voucher for 3 course meal for 2 (birthday present from may) the menu is very limited- but as we hadn't booked we was accommodated.all Staff were extremely friendly & helpull - The meal was very nice & I would recommend the sticky toffee pudding for dessert if you are not full - look forward to our next vist.
Nice atmosphere and plenty of room between tables unlike other restaurants. Meal (Risotto followed by Panne Cota) was delicious. Little one enjoyed her pizza and chocolate ice cream. We enjoyed our lunch even though the service was a little slow at times. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
Had a birthday treat here. The food was amazing! Waiting staff made you feel like you were important. We did have to wait a bit but as it was a Saturday and it was really busy. However the waiter did apologise for the wait. Had a very noisy table of about 12 behind us but that certainly did not spoil our evening. What was a shame though was the state of the toilets , they were filthy. it did let the place down a bit, however do hope to go back one day.
Went there on Good Friday. Quite busy, but as usual service seemed rushed. The waiter re-checked what we ordered, but we had to ask for table water 3 times, the Olives never came and had to ask for the side of fries that was ordered when the food arrived. The food was fine - pretty much as expected, so no issues there, but the service was pretty poor on this occasion. It's not the first time the service hasn't been great there either, seems a bit hit and miss at times.
Understaffed, took 10 minutes to get our 2 drinks, took 10 minutes to get our bill and then 15 minutes later we had to go up to the bar and pay because we couldn’t wait any longer.
It is not a patch on the Haverhill one.Felt very crammed and poor layout. The till is in the walkway where you have to pass by to go to the toilets.Chairs are in the way .If anyone wants to come through with a pram people have to move and we did see a little girl knocked to the floor by the open door of the cupboard under the till
Worst dining experience I have had in Bury. Not crowded whatsoever but had to wait even though we had a reservation. Then our food took at least 45 mins to come out. Order was also not correct. This is forgivable generally but no attempt was made by server or manager besides neglecting us and just meandering around. Asked for some salad dressing and was given an empty bottle and told “you should be able to get some out.” Doesn’t get one star because food was okay.
Teach how to work with the gloves for waitresses. You can not touch the cheese with your hands. It is not hygienic for customers of the institution.
I was disappointed that despite the menu stating that all pizzas are hand stretched and made to order, the chef wasn't prepared to swap a pizza base from classic to thin, even though I was prepared to pay extra. Also service was very slow. I won't be going back any time soon. :(
Food was nice but service not so. Service very slow. We also had a voucher for a free bottle of Prosecco, we asked if we could use the voucher and was told yes but the waitress didn't serve it and after waiting for so long we decided not to bother asking again. No check back either or chance of 2nd drinks order the whole experience felt like they couldn't wait to get rid of us. Shame as we have always liked eating here.
Service slow & our waitress didn't know the menu. Food dried out & no seasoning. Very expensive for what you get, and when you point it out, they just say ok! Not good at all!
I am so disappointed, the staff didn’t talk to each other, the service was incredibly slow and no one seemed to know what they were doing! It’s half term so I had children with me and they were just sat there hungry. We were only the second table in the whole place and still took an hour to get a starter!! I will not be recommending anyone to go here! Very disappointed customer!!!
Hi if I was you I wouldn't go to Prezzo we had a bad nite out at they King Lynn restaurant.
It all started of ok the waitress took your order and the meal was fine it all went wrong after we finished our meal well before we finished our meal the male waiter took away our plates before we had finished.
On paying for the meal is when the trouble started My son had give me a gift card for Father's Day. The very rude waiter didn't like me giving the gift card after the meal as he would have to give me a different bill he returned to the table and said he couldn't take the card it had run out three days before which it hadn't.
The card was bought from Tesco on the card it says it expires 18 months after the last use or balance check being I had not use the card or done a balance check it still had 18 months to go.
I had the Tesco receipt which I showed to the waiter but he was not having any of it.
By this time I was getting very upset. I paid the bill and left.
Had the unfortunate dis-pleasure of visiting prezzo @ bury st Edmunds tonite to say it was poor is an understatement! Booked at table for 7 not seated till 7.40, very slow service, waited an hour for starter which was cold and horrid, whilst the hour passed there was at least 5 complaints even a guy who got 5 takeaway pizzas brought them back as where awful, just waiting on mains but not got much hope! Highly recommend that you do not attend this place there is a Nando's round the corner which I'd strongly recommend! Poor food so far poor service surprised if anyone comes back who was here tonite! Awful
Awful service this evening (Sunday) table booked for 5.30 nobody came to serve us at all but the waiter who sat us down served 3 tables around us that had been seated after us. Waited till 6pm still no service so ended having to ask the waitress to take our order. Wait between starter and main was 15mins. From sitting at the table at 5.30 to still not having our main at 6.45pm! We had a theatre show to see at 7.30. Ended up going to get my own bill but was still made to wait 10mins to be given that. All in all was made to feel invisible. The waiter who served our area clearly was avoiding us for some reason? No apology... shocking! Awful eating experience.
