Just had a lovely lunch here today. The food and wine were spot on and the staff were very friendly and professional. We are returning tonight for a bottle of red wine.

Great food, had a chance to relax and have a drink in the lounge area before our meal which was lovely. The food was quick to arrive, nice and fresh and very tasty. The service was excellent too.

Four of us went for a birthday meal , when we arrived it was really busy but the service was a bit slow but friendly , food was excellent and a good night was had by all would recommend

Very good food ! Service was not the best ! Waited for table I wanted window table so they made us wait even longer, it just needed to be cleaned and laid new , but the waiter who served us was great , had to chase the food as some were served and we wanted to all eat together ! ??? But the food was so delicious 😋 would go again , hopefully service will be improved 🤞

Have never had a problem here. Staff are always polite food has always been good and hot, have never noticed the restaurant being dirty as stated in other reviews, can't comment on the toilets as never had to use them

Had a lovely meal, arrived about 5 on Sunday afternoon, and got seated quickly and served quickly as well, restaurant got busier as the evening went on but we were looked after. Overall a pleasant experience.

Went on Sat evening with 9 other people. We ordered 2 bottles of Prosseco to start with but it came with wines glasses not flutes and were told they only had 3 flutes in the resturant. There were starters missing of the menu and also desserts .We booked with the offer of Prosseco with the meal. Which when the bill came they charged us an extra £51 for it. They also didn't take off the special price for the menu we had ordered or the £10 early booking fee. In all they tried to charge is over £100 more than our bill should of been. Not good meals were ok but not brilliant. Dominic the waiter was helpful but it was embarrassing having to keep asking for them to sort the bill.

Waited ages for starters and mains food good staff good seats ruff i thought it was expensive for what it is mite visit again .

It was ok nothing to write home about but they made a big mistake on the bill and overcharge me by nearly £20 which I queried and got refunded but not the point be careful

Great food, slow service. Party of five booked for 8.30pm although offered drinks on arrival were not given drinks menu so took half hour before we finally ordered and drinks arrived. Overall enjoyed the evening although I personally felt pork belly herb coating was over done.

First visit to Clacton-on-Sea Prezzo. It was ok.

Positives - polite, friendly staff - good atmosphere - most of the food was good

Negatives - pepperoni pizza was swamped in grease - waited 40 mins from starter clearing to mains arriving with no warning of a wait ( I wouldn’t have minded if we did get a warning) seats were very old and sunken so hurt the backs of your legs - table was sticky.

We probably won’t visit again unfortunately.

Was going really well, dinner was lovely . Ordered desert and drinks. Was there, all in all 3/4 hour, only to be asked to move whilst our drink was in our hand as they wanted the table for someone else ! Despite us pre booking the table . Busy or not , you don't ask people to move to a settee when they havnt finished . How rude ! NOT HAPPY !

Not the best if I'm honest service was slow and we were absolutely freeexing throughout the whole of our meal. We did mention we were cold but to no avail. I had goose bumps throughout which is not best way to spend an evening out for dinner.

We got forgotten about a lot and spent a lot of money on there.

We had to ask about our dinner and when given the bill were agin we're just left for a very long time.

Mmm warm olives and wine, but food was nice, and loved being left to eat our meal without being disturbed to be asked if everything was ok😁 😁

It was just ok. It wasn't busy, about 1/4 full max but the service wasn't good at all. There were 5 of us (2 adults and 3 kids) an extra garlic bread (kids starter) was brought out and when we said it was extra it was whipped away with a look. We asked for pens/crayons for the kids activities on the kids menu sheets and was again given a look and said she would see but she doubted it, and never came back. One of the kids meals was forgotten and had to be made after we all got ours, another of the kids desert was forgotten and we had to get the attention of a waiter to ask where it was after the other 2 got theirs, and the advertised discount on kids eat for a pound wasn't applied until we asked, we waited ages for the bill and even longer to pay so I went up to the counter to pay in the end.

First time at this location very friendly and understanding staff but my starter was burnt and my main meal wrong but they did not charge me. I will go again on my next visit and hopefully all will be ok

What a shit hole. I have never been such a crap prezzo in my life. Food was awful! Wasn't cooked properly. Staff was all over the place. Didn't bother to do a check back on the food was really hard to get a member of staff to tell them how bad the food was. There reply was well that's what it's normally like I wouldn't even let my child have his dessert because he was still hungry and we ended up paying then going else where. Never Ever will I return. Don't even think to the company as a whole.

What happened to prezzo?

Looks like Zizzi is a million times better in food service and quality.

Steak main course was sliced meat that was nearly raw after asking for medium. When complained we were told it wasn't cooked by Prezzo but bought in. So I guess it's just warmed in the microwave then. The toilets are a disgrace ( filthy and not cleaned properly ). 2 hours after leaving this restuarant in Clacton I started sneezing and immediately had a sore throat and burning sensation to back of nose and continued on today. The young waiter nearly dropped glasses and bottles over our table other than me catching them. Also a bottle of oil was dropped on the floor by a waiter. Almost like Fawlty Towers as a restuarant. Won't be going back there in a hurry.

Picked up a takeaway which was ok but while sitting waiting for it I had time to look around and realise just how filthy dirty this restaurant is! Shocking really cos if the restaurant can be that bad, what must the kitchens look like? I don't even want to go there about how filthy the bathrooms are 😩😩
