Prezzo

we had a voucher from christmas to use at prezzo. this was my first time at prezzo and i wasn't disappointed. the service and food were great . the place was light bright and modern and felt very spacious. i would recommend this restaurant.

My girlfriend and i regularly go there on a weekend as we know every time the food will be of a high standard (even though prezzo is only a chain)! The staff are always so friendly and attentive! Its nice to have a restaurant that one can trust when you just want some decent food at a good price! The negroni cocktail is a must have!

Came here last night with my other half. Ordered off a set menu, lots to choose from!! Food was delicious and the staff very friendly! Looking forward to coming back soon x

Always had good food here, good choice for gluten free too. Manager here is so friendly and even sat down with us for a chat and a laugh. Staff always friendly here, such a good atmosphere:-)

They take an awful long time to get you a drink but the food is tasty ! Staff are accommodating and friendly. Would go again :-)

Food was very nice but it arrived before the cutlery!! Waiter then went to get them, then laid the table in this time food was going cold. I had side order of chips. A pathetic portion. Waiter said it was not the right size (no idea why I had been given a tiny portion) and went to get more. This took so long I had to ask where they were as I had nearly finished my meal. The food was good and I am returning for my birthday. Hopefully the table will be laid and correct sized portions.

Prezzo as a restaurant serves pretty good food, there is a wide selection of various courses. However, Prezzo in Farnborough seems to be lacking in some factors. When we first walked in it took about 10 minutes just to be seated, this was because none of the staff took the initiative to serve us as soon as we entered. The staff were very oblivious to the presence of customers, including those who were seated. They took their time to serve each table, and this was done without a smile. A smile makes all the difference in customer service. Overall, the food was good, but the staff need to be trained on good customer service; and it could be improved by the addition of a few more waiting staff.

My friend and I had dinner here last night using a 241 meerkat code before a film. We were seated quickly, it was the busiest I have ever seen it. As usual the food was great. I felt really sorry for the waiting staff though as there was not enough of them to cope with the amount of customers. They were literally running round the restaurant. Still with smiles and trying their hardest. Prezzo really need to put more staff on for nights like 241 movies at the cinema next door to alleviate the service issues.

We didn't get our side orders at all so had them removed off the bill as had to leave to make our film.

Great food, lovely staff but far too overstretched last night

We went there in February and the food and service was good. Last night the service was so slow, even when a couple of more young waitresses turned up it didn’t improve. They seemed to avoid looking at their customers.

Took a while to be seated wife and I booked 6:30 pm so it wouldn't be busy.

Restaurant was clean.and tidy tables well spaced apart so you cannot hear other peoples conversation which is good.

Service needs major improvements, took a while for to be seated, the starters, my wife is coeliac and cannot eat wheat or gluten. The starter she asked for gluten free garlic bread, the waitress said thay have no breaded products that are gluten free as they have ran out. So salad was offered in reacement. When her starter arrived it came with garlic bread which they have meant to have ran out of. She double checked with chef and he said its gluten free, which a while back he said thay don't have any gluten free breaded food! If my wife had eaten that she would have been serilusly ill. They served up gluten bread.

Mains was ok when we got them, after main we wasn't offered dessert, tea or coffee. We asked for the bill the the waitress came over pulled up the chair from next table sat with us whilst completing transaction.



During the evening three lots of people got up and walked out even before their drinks arrived as service was so slow.

The food in prezzo was delicious but the way the manager just spoke to my partner and I was horrendous! The way she approached us and spoke was very aggressive. I do not appreciate this kind of service! Ever since they have appointed new management at this restaurant the service has gone down hill. Very very disappointed

Overpriced for what it is, staff who are friendly but need some waiter/waitressing training, the place was not even busy.

Had an impromptu meal there with my husband on Thursday eve and was very disappointed , the service was efficient as usual and the starter was very tasty the stuffed mushrooms . When the main course arrived it looked the same as I have had before ( it is the third time of having this dish ) but it had very little taste and pasta was dry and hard . Nobody came to ask if every thing was ok so I carried on trying to eat as was very hungry as we arrived late after a food shopping trip . I didn't feel I wanted to wait another 20 minutes for another meal to be cooked . I left half of the pasta as really wasn't enjoying it . When the waitres cleared the plates I mentioned I didn't enjoy the meal and felt disaoointed . She made no comment . I said "please can you pass this on to the kitchen ." I'm always keen to give positive reviews and give praise when it's due . I makes me sad to write negative one .

Food was okay, but if you take a look at the loo's they are a shocker! Crikey, pay your cleaners to clean those loos as we ( the public) start to think that if you loo is this bad...what's the kitchen like? Get it sorted eh!

Currently I am sat waiting outside a darkened Prezzo in Farnborough when we had a table booked for over half an hour ago at 12! The only reason we are waiting is that we love the food here. The poor kitchen staff are in there, but it doesn't look like anyone else has turned up for work. What a shambles.

Turned up for the table we booked for 12:30 on our last day of the school holidays to find Prezzo closed. Waited for a while and two very young chefs came out and locked the door behind them. They were going to ignore us so I approached them to find out what was going on. They said they are closed as they have no staff. Couldn't believe it! Kids were really looking forward to it!

Disgusting!

Poor service! Took 20 mins to be seated as there seemed to be no one around. Wont come again. Staff lazy while one person did all the work. Food was underseasoned, and didn't have some of what myself and my friend ordered. Still waiting for someone to come over considering we are clearly finished and have been for about 15 minutes! And it isn't even busy here. Terrible service for average food.

I visited this Prezzo for the second time today. On both occasions I have received great food with sadly poor service and really terrible customer service.



On my first visit, we were a large family and friend party of 9 and waited so long for service and food that we missed our fireworks event despite having been rushed from the table when they needed our table for other guests. Having been disappointed by the level of service, I queried the service charge on the bill and asked for it to be removed from the bill. I was spoken to in an extremely rude manner and treated with disdain.



Today I visited for lunch with a friend having booked a table and advised at point of booking that I had a Tastecard. I advised on arrival again that I had a Tastecard. We ate a lovely lunch but then was advised at the point of paying that I could not use my Tastecard at this time - and again was spoken to by the same gentleman in a rude and dismissive way. Rather than honour the 2for1 £10.25 discount, he eventually agreed to give me a 20% discount worth £6 which I was still not happy about.



I have been thoroughly unimpressed, I will not visit this Prezzo again and I certainly will not recommend this food place to anyone.
