We visited after watching Star Wars the last Jedi, Lovely staters and what a great idea the share bowls, we had carbonara and it was stunning, also fast and high quality service from our friendly and attentive waitress all on New Years Eve thank you and have a great 2018

The other reviews on here in no way reflect our visit the manager and staff were in a word brilliant nothing to much trouble the resurant was almost full on the evening of Wednesday 25 October 2017

I will deffanatly be coming back, our party of six all agreed a brilliant visit, well done everyone.

My stone baked with spinach cheese olives and egg was the most tastey pizza i have ever eaten and the panna cotta was heavenly best panna cotta perfect texture full vanilla flavour with delicious fruit presented like a work of art. Service was quick and friendly. Staff were professional. Service area and kitchen clean. Toilets clean and tidy. Wonderful ambience, lovely decor in restaurant. Very impressive

Couldn't fault this place tonight !! First time eating here but it won't be the last !! We chose from the ultimate weekend menu 2 courses for £10.50, we were expecting smaller portions but they were normal size and very tasty. Service was superb.

Came here to meet school friends (we're in our early 30s!) after a few months of not seeing each other. Had a lovely quiet table in the corner so could enjoy a really good catch up. Drinks served quickly by really friendly staff. We all had 3 courses with a mixture of Mushrooms, Calamari and Mozzarella (Starters), Pizza, pastas and Chicken (Mains) and Cheesecakes, Ice Cream, Pana Cotta and hot drinks (Deserts) and all delicious; nothing left on any plates. Great food, great service and great drinks which made our night all the more enjoyable! Highly recommend 👍🏾

Went as a family for my husband's birthday food was brilliant only on lady serving though hope they have more staff in the evening's. Enjoyed are visit were going to Frankie and Benny but found they were closed. Nice to go somewhere different that does nice food. Definitely will go there again.

The food was delicious, one of the best I've had in a long time. The service came with a smile, but it all appeared chaotic when we arrived. We were told they couldn't seat us for half an hour although the restaurant was only a third full and stayed that way until we left. We asked for drinks while we "waited" the half an hour to be seated and it took the whole half an hour for them to come. It seemed to me that only so many tables had been allocated that night because they couldn't physically cater for any more. So many people came and went when told they'd have to wait, but why?? The restaurant was two thirds empty!! Despite all that, I've not enjoyed a meal as much as I enjoyed that one for a long time.��

Originally booked a table for 4 but turned up with 5 and they accommodated us without fuss even at a busy time. Service was good, 5 diffferent mains were ordered and were all very nice, hot and tasty. Couple of pints of Peroni, buy 1 main get one free voucher used so all in all, Happy days 👍

First visit food was fantastic, staff where very friendly could have done with a couple more staff on as it was very busy with it being had term week but they were very polite, it felt very clean and fresh in there will definitely be back

First time here, plenty on the menu I would like to try on my next visits. Food came out before the drinks and had to ask 3 times for our bill but otherwise lovely. Will visit again!

Visited on Thursday last week for a meal with a friend, the restaurant wasn't full but it seemed they were either short staffed or wasn't well ran.. our waitress was lovely, couldn't fault her (blonde lady) was running round and didn't see her stop, but the manager seemed as though she couldn't get her hands dirty or muck in.. when our waitress was busy and the food bell went, the manager wasn't busy she looked and made a comment at our waitress to say come on.. the fact that we noticed it was terrible but the waitress in question must have felt so small and humiliated! I did advise her she was doing a great job.. but I thought this was shocking from a well known reputable business!

We normally go to Prezzo in the town we love the good in there but on this occasion we tried Meriden and we were left disappointed fries and calamari were soggy we fungi pizza it was Luke warm

Very disappointed with prezzo tonight. Service very slow, clearly understaffed. Had to send food back as ordered salmon pasta and there was no salmon in it - chef did not look happy with this request. Had to wait around 15 mins for the bill. Very disappointed will not be going back

Poor service. We didn't book but came into a half empty restaurant. Told we could have a table but there was a time that we would need to be out. We then sat and were ignored by the waiting staff and would have waited longer if we hadn't attracted their attention. Wouldn't have minded if it had been rammed. But probably due to one of the staff. Manager, I think, eating a meal standing at the pass. Ordered pizza vesuvio. Not very volcanic! £6+ for tiny desserts. So didn't bother. Noisy environment due to hard furnishing. Just disappointing in general. Bella Italia next time.

I came here to eat for my birthday with 3 of my friends. I was actually disgusted with the service. First of all we had the 40% of mains voucher & half price of bottles of wine. We asked the waiter he said we could use both. The starters came out great. I ordered a pasta dish with aubergine which came out really dry. But then asked them to make it saucy which they did. Then asked us if we wanted chilli oil or parmasan cheese we said we wanted the oil. He came to our table with a bottle with hardly any oil, I would say a table spoon, then asked for some more and then she gave us two bottles which again was empty. And she said we have run out of chilli oil. This was dissapointing she could of just said we didn't have any. When we ordered desserts again there was desserts that ran out. I have been going to prezzo for quite a few years & never been to a restaurant like this. We felt like the staff and management weren't really bothered about us being unhappy. I think I would just go to the town prezzo restaurant! The service is so much better & they never run out of things!

Food was ok but the service was appalling. The restaurant wasn't busy when we arrived but we weren't asked at any time whether we were happy with our meal and my son had to wait 25 minutes for a bottle of Fanta. Even the chef was getting irate, taping the bell repeatedly when staff failed to collect the food. We didn't hand around for dessert as the service was so slow. The fastest thing we got was the bill but we waited another 10 minutes and nobody came for payment. We ended up handing cash in at the till on our way out. I always leave a tip but didn't today so here it is now - Improve your customer service or you'll lose custom!

Shocking service tonight... no apology or acknowledgment of this from staff, very disappointing dining experience!!

Staff not attentive or welcoming nothing was remotely timely. We were left for ages with dirty plates and these still weren't cleared when we left. We didn't bother with extra drinks, pudding or hot drink (would usually, so would have been easy extra sales) as we couldn't risk how long it would all take.

We weren't in a rush and we're there for a relaxing evening out and a catch up but each stage took so long we were having to seek the attention of the staff.

Staff were concentrating on clearing empty tables to seat more customers that they couldn't then provide effective service to...

Really poor service. Not all the drinks were given to everyone in our group, it took a long time to get them even after being reminded. The food all arrived at different times, some not being brought out at all even after reminding the server. Nobody checked on how we were doing after receiving the food, nobody was able to get second drinks or refills. The bill still included the items we never got. Everyone in the group left wishing we had chose somewhere else to have dinner.

Been here a couple of times and it's been lovely.. today it was disgusting the chicken and asparagus risotto wasn't even edible! Cheesy garlic bread wasn't how it normally is it was a child portion! when bought to manager's attention I asked it they had a new chef? manager said no it's how they had made it last night and he was aware it wasn't right! If you knew it was that bad you and chef shouldn't have served it!
