The staff are always friendly and helpful. They are attentive but not intrusive. The food was excellent as usual, and always looks appetizing. I like the bright and airiness of this restaurant, and the fact the lower the lights a little as gets darker, giving it a nice coziness.

Lovely meal out with my girlfriends. Enjoyed my meal and dessert. Friendly staff. We booked for 5:30pm yesterday 28/07/17 and thank God we did because it later got busy and people were waiting to be seated. I will certainly go back there with my other friends

I went to Prezzo for the first time on sunday afternoon.

Planty of free tables, grate service, very tasty food.

Starter mozarella in breadcramb, main pasta carbonara, dessert tiramisu and red vine.

Definitely recommend it.

3 of us went for a meal Saturday evening... well what can i say.. great service, great food, lovely surroundings. Very clean.

Staff very friendly and attentive even when it started to get busy.

Just one thing, just an observation.. when the sun started to set it was shining directly into some guests eyes including me. It might be worth getting a blind as summer is coming !!! �

We went into Preto for lunch, ordered Gluten free pizza starter, and a Gluten free main course pizza, they both came out at the same time as requested, they where so hard that the pizza cutter broke when trying to cut the pizza, the main course pizza had barely anything on it, and for the price really wasn't worth the money, the waiter spotted us struggling to try to cut the pizzas, and exchanged the pizza for another pizza altogether, the replacement pizza was much nicer.

The staff where lovely, very helpful and informative, would go again, however Preto you do need to change your Gluten free pizza base for one that is eatable.

Service was great very friendly and professional. Both my husband and I enjoyed our meals which were fresh and tasty. The place was busy but tables were quickly cleared and relayed. Will definitely go again.

Love Prezzo, our favourite is Harpenden but combined this visit with a cinema trip. Service was very good, drinks came quickly, the food was very tasty but we thought the main meals could have been hotter, although the fries were piping hot. it was quite busy for a Tuesday night. We had the meatballs and the Bruscheeta to start then Chicken Breast Calabrese with the lovely truffle oil cheesy fries and Lobster & Crab Tortelli. We would definitely consider going back again.

Belated Mother's Day treat from my daughter, we both had lovely starters which we shared and both our mains were great too! Lovely treat and the food was good.

4 of us went there for dinner last night. I appreciate it was a sunny evening so we had to.move tables as the sun was shining directly in my eyes. Moved to another table and had the same problem a little later when the sun moved round. Think they should invest in some blinds to avoid this happening. Also one of us ordered calamari which seemed to be mainly batter but we did have this item taken off our bill. The staff were very pleasant and attentive and the rest of the food was delicious. Will visit again. �

fast to get us to the table but starters came before our drinks. my main was okay, i had the salmon penne but was very disappointed, bit dry & flavourless! they were very understaffed & took us 20mins to get the waiters attention to get the bill! could of walked out and no one would of noticed...

Was ok. First time in a Prezzo didn't really think the food warranted the quite high prices. Had to remind the staff that we ordered stuff a couple of times after waiting 20 mins and stuff still not turning up to the table. Doubt I will be using Prezzo again

Walked in with 2 friends - stood around for 10 minutes before someone came and asked us what we wanted - oh - just a table for : please !

Nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. Starter we ordered wasn't right but we eat it anyway as so hungry! Main meal was a little dry, was pasta and I've had this before. Pudding was lovely.

Lovely looking restaurant inside and outside. Waters/waitresses would look much better in matching uniforms not jeans and trainers. The drinks waiter had a bad problem with personal hygiene which was extremely unpleasant when ordering and serving drinks to us and then delivering our food, he absolutely stunk! It was horrendous. Food just about ok but not as good as the standards of other Prezzo's we have eaten in all of which have all been of a much higher standard.

Had been saving eating here for a special occasion and finally went there with my husband last night for a meal to celebrate an important anniversary. Ended up being very disappointed. Our server was under training and it felt like we were being treated as guinea pig as she kept saying I've been told to do this. The food was only ok but nothing to write home about and nobody asked us how our meal was. Left the restaurant feeling very disappointed and to be honest we've had better service at the pommel horse pub a few doors down from prezzo.

We were going into the cinema but thought an hour would be more than adequate to get a meal. I visited around a year ago and it was good then so I was expecting better. The service was appalling very slow and had to keep asking where our drinks were. We ordered two salads which took over half an hour to appear. When they did arrive they were disappointing I had chicken bacon and avocado salad there was no bacon and a tiny piece of avocado! My daughter had salmon not a very generous portion either. The garlic bread which was part of these meals had no garlic aroma or taste! When the check arrived we had been charged for olives which had never arrived. I complained but the manager was unapologetic but after listening to my rant did take the olives and my salad off the bill. They didn't deserve a tip customer service was non existent will not go back.

The service very poor and the waiter spilt our drinks twice over the table and never cleaned it up the lighting is far too bright in the restaurant! And we had to wait a very long time for our main course! Also there were a lot of flys buzzing about in the restaurant which was very off putting ! We will not be returning!

So what can I say, ordered drinks brought out a glass without the drink and had to ask for the drink. Completely missing one of the starters and the tried waiter argued about it. Then when the main meal came out I got a pizza and not the pasta bake I ordered, again the waiter tried to argue about it and then another waiter brought our actual food order. Conclusion, at no time did anyone ask if the food ok and at no time did we get an apology. So no I won't be going back to that bunch of clowns.

Shocking didn't understand what drink I wanted

Also requested no chilli on my dinner so it csm with chilli garnish & I was told that was ok.......

Thankfully I never had an allergy

Won't be going there again in a hurry

Service was good, but a bit pricey for what I ordered , not a great deal of food on the plate, but polite service, can t fault this!!

Not the best Prezzo's we've been to. The service was slow but friendly. Ordered olives as nibbles,which normally comes with your drinks while looking at the menu. They came with our starters. We were bothered by flies buzzing around and needed sunglasses as seemed like floodlights on. Disappointed as it's local.

Food was lovely but staff were inattentive and at some points downright rude.

Despite the food being lovely and the staff being friendly, it was really let down by the lack of staff and therefore the time it took to get served. Sitting by the food counter, I could see food that was taking too long to reach the tables. I expect a few were served with cold pizza. A family next to us complained to staff about the length of time he'd been in there too. A few more staff members would give me nothing to complain about

Come on Saturday night. Gave ourselves 2 hours before film to eat. The restaurant was busy which meant the service was so slow. I think they forgot our mains as we had to ask them when the tables either side of ours who sat after us received theirs. We had to literally shovel our food down - which wasn't even that great. Ordered the kids puddings and they didn't come so had to leave without them. The manager JD did say we could go back after the film and have them to takeaway. We ended up missing the first few minutes of our film due to the extremely slow service.

seemed ok to start with and good service then things suddenly started to go wrong. after the waiter said he wouldn't get our party order wrong he completely forgot my meal so while the rest of my party was eating i was not and had to wait about 5 minutes then when it did arrive it was very untastful and not edible, when our drinks order was then taking all the drinks were brought over yet again apart from mine. safe to say i didn't give a tip

Would be nice to comment on the food, but having been seated, then ignored, for 15 minutes, without even being asked for a drinks order, I left. Only 2 other couples in the whole restaurant, at 2pm on a Thursday...definitely can’t blame it on a rush! Terrible service.

Was there tonight in a group of 13 celebrating a birthday and was extremely disappointed at the service we recieved!! the drinks order was wrong to start with, and then they messed up with the starters which were ordered, most of us had finished our starters by the time the other 2 had been corrected in which one of them ended up being spilt all down one of our group by the waitress causing her to get burnt on the head and had her top completely ruined by the oily sauce and broken crockery on the floor just left there until we were leaving, she was offered a soft drink as an appology, they then messed up on the main course, one particular meal had to be returned twice as it wasnt what was ordered (how can they mess up a simple margherita pizza is beyond me!) and the fries we ordered had to be asked for 4 times at least, one of the group went to complain to the manager who did bring over a round of drinks for everyone and some extra fries lol with a promise to sort out a discount on the bill (funny how he left before we finished our meal leaving someone else to sort it all out) explaining it was all down to new staff working tonight, then came the deserts, we had a different waitress to serve us this time but the deserts were still messed up as when brining out most of them we were informed there was no brownie domes (we had ordered 2 of them) only for them to find them 10 minutes later, so all in all it was awful service and I would definitely NOT recommend this place to anyone!!!

The service here was shocking. It took 20minutes from ordering our drinks to actually receiving them (only 5 persons on the table), and the order was wrong. The drinks were warm when they did arrive. The food was not delivered to our table together as 2 of our party got theirs late. The carbonara had no flavour. Some of the food was cold when it arrived. Ordered the fudge cake for dessert - it was part frozen and no one asked whether I wanted hot/cold. My friend had a panacotta which had plastic in it. He also ordered a coffee at the same time which did not arrive. 4 of us had finished our desserts and another had not even received his (an arctic slice), when asking for it he was told someone else had eaten it. The waiter was rude and unprofessional. A second round of drinks which included a bottle of coke and glass of water took so long to arrive that we cancelled the order.

The garlic pizza was so dry and flavourless, which took 35 minutes to arrive. The service was poor, a 17 people at the table and not 1 person enjoyed their main meal.

The food was lovely, but the diabolical service ruined my birthday meal. I spoke in customer services and if I treated my customers the way I was treated, I would be sacked.

Super slow service. Food bland and overpriced. Took longer to get the bill than it should have. Wont be returning ...

Service poor waitresslooked rushed and forgot half our starter sea bass over cooked and pizza cold and it wasn’t busy in there so no excuse for the poor service. Not looking to return again

I wasn't happy with kings prawn as they were too small, I asked the waiter but he didn't even bother to tell the chef, the second time I asked for some extra chilli 🌶 and they charged me for that. The table was not cleaned properly but still I would say that the dessert 🍨 were delicious.

I had never been to a Prezzo prior to yesterday’s visit. The order was wrong twice and we had a very embarrassing situation caused by one of the staff which has put me off both returning to the Hemel Hempstead restaurant and probably the chain as a whole.

Having eaten at Prezzos many times in other restaurants and never having had a problem I assumed great service and food was standard.

How wrong can you be the service was appalling my husband was offered a flat pint - it had clearly been pre poured and not used, I had to ask twice for my drink, twice we were asked if we wanted desserts - we hadn't even had our mains.

The staff clearly thought they were on a jolly of some sort - laughing at getting things wrong and not really concerned about the customers.

No revisit I'm afraid

Arrived 10 mins early for an 8pm booking on a Tuesday night. We were shown to a table that hasn't been cleared, but to be fair they cleared it quickly.



20 mins later still hadn't taken our drinks order so walked out.



Waste of time. Went next door to Frankie & Bennies, 5 min wait for table, but had our drinks, starters and mains all served and paid for within an hour!!!!
