The food and atmosphere were great, and the staff were nice. However, the service was a little slow, and at one point they lost our order, apologized, and offered a free dessert and coffee. When the bill came the dessert and coffee were on there. Didn't bother to point it out and paid. I'll go again, but have no 5 star expectations.

First visit - excellent food & service, although they got a little muddled at times! Very busy - we were warned of a half hour wait for food, but in the event it was only 15 mins or so.

We went for my birthday celebration recently. Staff were fab could not fault them.very friendly.however a few of the meals one being pork belly was asked for it to be well done it came out burnt to a crisp. Very expensive and read the small print if you have vouchers and you are in a group as you can only use 1 voucher per table. But if we had sat on our own we could have used the second voucher?doesn't make sense?

If you don't have vouchers it's very expensive £25 for a bottle of proseco.

And expensive for a curaff of wine which came out in a really small jug the same as you have on a table at breakfast for a small jug of orange juice.

Very disappointed as it was a special occasion and upsetting that what should have been a happy occasion became a upsetting one as the waiter was arguing with us about the vouchers.

Such a shame.

Not only was the food mediocre and the service painfully slow(it took us an hour just to get the bill at the end of the meal!) but I have been very ill all night since eating here, and at least one other member of our group has also had an upset stomach all night. On further inspection we discovered this branch has a hygiene rating of just 2! We probably should have checked this before eating there but let this be a warning to others. If you want to pay (eventually) for the privilege of spending your night getting up close and personal with your toilet then this is the venue for you. If you would rather have good food, decent service and hang onto your dinner afterwards then go somewhere else. I won't be returning.
