It was our first visit to the Grantham Prezzo..My fiance & I had a lovely Valentine's meal last night..the food was very tasty & well presented..it was very busy but the staff were excellent, can not fault them on anything, very, helpful, polite & accommodating I would definitely recommend & we will be visiting again.

I genuinely don't understand why there are 1 and 2 star reviews, ever since Prezzo opened they have been brilliant/top notch service and food. There was no teething problems when they first opened and they are consistent. We would expect to pay alot more than we do for the food/service and the look of the interior, the restaurant is very well presented. The staff are polite and very welcoming. I like how Prezzo is fitting for either a special occasion or a casual meal, it has exceeded our expectations and more everytime my partner and I or friends have visited. It is hands-down our 'go to' restaurant/meal out. The staff even say Hello/smile when you pass them in the street! Thank you prezzo!

Food was great and tasty the staff were attentive and efficient everything arrived as ordered couldn't fault it had a lovely night we had vouchers which also reduces the bill well worth looking out for will definitely go back.

First time we have been to this restaurant, staff and service good, meal was delicious. I agree it is a bit pricey, but nice for a special occasion. Will definitely make a return visit.

Every time I have been into prezzo I have found the staff friendly and competent. Food is of a high standard and the best coffee in Grantham

Dropped in for lunch, it’s a restricted menu, basically a choice of sandwiches with either chips or salad, but it is very good indeed, and plenty of it. At £6.75 it’s good value, and the service was good as well. We’ll do it again!

As an avid lover of Italian food, Prezzo makes me want to shave my hair and beard off, then use calamari and carbonara to sculpt a food Mohawk and Hitler tash combo. Then follow it up by wrapping myself in pizza and living out my days as a calzone.....with epic food hair. The desserts are also well worth the diabetes I will get in my later years.

Anniversary meal with my Mrs Louise Hume and it was tip top. Really clean and welcoming surroundings and atmosphere, the staff were all very pleasant and the service was speedy without feeling rushed or pressured. The food was delicious with good sized portions. We will certainly be making many more visits!!

The staff were amazing considering there were 32 of us. I ordered chicken and asparagus risotto and I only found 2 pieces of asparagus and the chicken was a little scarce with a few too many peas. It was tasty however and the sticky toffee pudding was to die for. Would definitely go again but try another main course

Second time we've been to this restaurant. First time was in the Christmas break. Service that time was not great. Food was great.

This time the service was excellent. In fact if I'm being picky, it felt a bit rushed. But this time, I thought the food was a bit lacking in taste. I had spaghetti carbonara. My wife and son had pizza and they loved them.

I'd like the atmosphere more, if they would add some soft furnishings or something to deaden the noise a bit. Don't want it lifeless, but I do like to be able to hold a conversation without feeling I have to speak loudly across the table.

Having said all the minor criticisms above, I wouldn't hesitate to eat there again.

Positives: The food was tasty and came out hot. Staff were friendly and polite.



Negatives: Booked early because we had children. Waited 45 minutes for drinks to arrive and it was 1:50 before the mains came out. Restaurant was busy but wasn't exactly over ran it was a Wednesday night. And I tip if I think I've had good service not if you try to sneak a surcharge onto the bill!

Fairly expensive, and not brilliant portion sizes on the mains. Long wait for food, but was busy. Would go again, but wouldn't recommend the Risotto; poorly presented and over cooked.

Although food was lovely and staff were too, my let down was the wait for food we waited an hour between starter and main and it’s always a long wait busy or not. Is this not something can be improved as it’s a shame it’s the only thing that lets you down

Won't be in a rush to return. Having to wait a while to order drinks, meanwhile walking to the bar to ask where our drinks are. Hardly anyone in the restaurant with only one serving. So ordered drinks and food all in one go. Food didn't match expectations as some was dry and not flavoursome. Then adding a service charge of £17 as there was 9 of us I thought was extortionate when the service wasn't that great.

Very expensive not be going back staff walk round not happy and never come to ask if everything was ok very busy place and very noesey

Not impressed, waited 60 mins + for a rissoto, the rest of my friends had eaten their meal when it arrived, didn't finish it, very salty!! As a plus they didn't charge for it.

I found it expensive .... Not as nice as my usual place down the road and the menu is similar but found prezzos just a bit more in price haven't been back since
