Took my family here yesterday for my mums birthday. Wow I was very impressed, the staff greeted us with lovely smiles followed by a birthday drink for my mum. There was also a birthday banner by our table, lovely touches to make her day extra special. The food was amazing, everyone enjoyed their meals and I will definitely be going back very soon. And to top it off at the end they brought my mum a birthday dessert with a candle. I couldn’t of asked for a better meal and way to finish my mums birthday, the staff were very attentive and great. I recommend anyone to go here you won’t be disappointed! ��

Those who know us, know we are partial to a Prezzo or two but there are reasons for that.....the menu is basic enough for someone of simple tastes such as myself yet fancy enough for someone with more adult tastes such as my wife. Either way the food comes cooked and served beautifully whilst the staff here are helpful, attentive and friendly. Thoroughly recommended!

Thank you to Kamil and the team at prezzo for a wonderful meal last night (and every time I have been). Food and service were spot on as usual. Will be going again very soon!

Had a meal here last night to celebrate family birthdays. As a party of 16, we were seated in a private room at the front which was perfect.

The staff were absolutely faultless, amazing service and great food. The whole evening was perfect. Thank you to all at Prezzo, Harpenden.

Fabulous celebration meal for my dad's 80th birthday with 28 of us in the front private room. Service was fabulous and speedy and the food was excellent. We had an outstanding meal and the management and staff couldn't do enough to make our meal perfect. Everyone had an amazing time and I'll definitely book group meals here again...Thank you!!!

A birthday treat for my birthday from my sister �. Brilliant service, food was amazing for freshness & portion size, great atmosphere too, perfect!! �

We went to Prezzo's in Harpenden for a very quick meal last Tuesday evening, after a hospital appointment nearby. The service was excellent, and I thought the setting was delightful. Our waitress Marianne was charming. There were only a few guests so I can imagine that it might not be quite the same on a busy night. I was disappointed that there were no sorbets on the menu instead of the dairy options of ice cream and other sweets. Marianne explained that they were unable to get them at present. Apart from this we enjoyed our visit to Prezzo's in Harpenden. Added bonus, I luckily managed to park right outside on a very wet night.

The food was scrummy.starters, mains and dessert. The hospitality was great..us five ladies were very well looked after (Saturday lunchtime) ..sadly we had to send the wine glasses back at start of service as some of them still had lipstick/or were a bit dirty..lovely place to go and plenty to eat and pipping hot..

Lovely food, sea bass perfect 👌, will definitely go again, little bit small rooms but enough space to eat!

Very average in my opinion. Nothing really fresh about their food, frozen dough, pizza cooked and prepared in less 5 minutes. Zizzi's is so much better! This restaurant is in real need of refurbishment! Service was good.

We were asked if we would like jug of water , it never arrived. We requested breads with oil and balsamic and we were given a sharing starter which was not what we were thinking, which adds the bill more expensive.

I would visit again just my expectation of visiting the Harpenden branch was not met.

Lovely quirky venue. Great location. We only had lasagne, salad and garlic bread which is pretty basic for Italian food. Have tasted much nicer. Mince in the lasagne was like puréed slop without much flavour. Had to ask for salad dressing! The wine was good and the Parmesan cheese was lovely.

I'm usually a big fan of prezzo - but was a little disappointed ! We were in a side room which had a speaker in it - the music was too loud for my 80 year old laws ! The restaurant was unable to turn off that speaker and they could only turn it down a little as it would reduce the volume throughout the restaurant ! I would suggest they relocate the speaker - easy as wireless ! My risotto was taste - but over cooked ! This restaurant was not able to meet some diff dietary needs ! So unable to do plain mash - as pre- made with garlic in ! Staff pleasant - but not overly accommodating - what you see is what you get !

Food was quite nice but service was poor. We used buyagift vouchers we were given for Christmas. At the end of the day just because the food was paid for up front shouldnt mean we don't get the same service as other guests. Menu was snatched from my daughters hand & plates thrown down on the table. Nobody came and asked us if the food was ok during our meal. It was suppose to be a nice family meal out but my husband said he felt like a second class citizen. Won't be returning. The only person we found friendly was the waitress with the short dark hair. Sorry I didn't know your name.

Usually love Prezzo- went out for Valentines Day food was great overall, service ok & atmosphere was nil. Really disappointing - at least some candles on tables would have helped, I heard another lady diner say it's Valentines don't we get a candle for a romantic evening & the manager answered with a rather abrupt no. We have been going to this Prezzo for years & we have now decided not to go back

Worst service I've ever had! Took over 20 minutes to get a drinks order taken and over 30 to get our food order taken! Yes the food was nice, other than the waiter putting cheese over my dinner even though I said I didn't want any, but they never came back to ask if everything was ok or if we wanted anymore drinks. We were then left for 20 minutes after our plates were taken, again without asking how our food was, with no one coming to ask if we would like desserts or anymore drinks despite others in the same room being asked. We gave up, paid and went to get a drink in a place guaranteeing the service

We booked a two-course meal for a family group for mother's day. On arrival we were told we could not have the 2 course option, could only have the more expensive three-course option. As a group women and children, we would not be able to manage a 3 course meal. The manager basically told us 'take it or leave it!!' He was very arrogant in his response to our request to consider the 2course option as was promised to us in an e-mail confirmation when booking the table 4 weeks in advance!!!

Some of the kid's meals starters were forgotten and then only arrived once we finished ours, same happened to the main course and again to the deserts!!!

Unfortunately I would never eat here again. The service was extremely slow as it felt like we was forgotten. The starters were good but the mains were just extremely disappointing. Being given frozen meals were mine was ice cold, my friends was just warm and her partners was also cold. When they brought the dish back, mine he no meat in it! I didn't eat it as was put off by the frozen meal and nothing was said.

We was offered free desserts but no one came back to see how our warmed up dinners were.

You'd think an Italian restaurant would be cooked fresh?

Very disappointing considering the frozen meals and cost.
