We thought the staff were amazing! After reading the latest review it's as if we went to a completely different place!! Prezzo couldn't have been more accommodating if they had tried! My son doesn't like tomato sauce so they did his pizza with pesto instead which he loves. My Dad really loves the chicken grill with gorgonzola sauce which is not currently on the menu but they made it for him. We were definitely not remotely cold either. I had a lace dress on, my Hubby, dad and son were in shirts and at no point did we feel cold. We had the free glass of prosecco deal plus a child's menu and we were really impressed with everything. In fact we were so impressed with our visit last night we posted to our friends on FB how happy we were, with a few pics, just as we left. Our son is 5 yrs old and he thought it was fantastic. He hugged the person who served us as he left as the staff were so lovely to him. They were superb in our opinion.

Starter was a bit tough, not usually the case for the fried mozzarella, the main was lovely, more than enough. The other guest all enjoyed their main courses as well, the dessert seemed to go down well as well. Staff we very friendly and helpful.

User

Lovely meal in Prezzo tonight. Good, swift service and tasty food. The children's menu is good although a little more choice would be nice. The activity sheets for the kids are great and kept our 3 entertained for the whole time.

User

The old cinema venue is lovely, but as for the food not so good. From sitting down it only took 40 minutes to bang out our starter, mains and dessert.....talk about fast food. My main the new Rabbit Ragu, had only one piece of meat in the whole dish. My wife's hot chicken salad, was advertised as containing avocado. Well it did, one piece the size of a sugar cube. The staff are always pleasant, but if it wasn't for their voucher system I don't think I'd bother again.

User

dishusting service.we were refused a table for 3 as they said they were fully booked.it was half full.asked if we could sit and get a drink.we ordered champagne guess what a table became available.

Today 18.00 .same again fully booked no your not we walked out.

great way to get business.

User

Was ok , service slow and the kids enjoyed it . Pizzas were ok not anything special . Meat balls were v poor , tasted more like stuffing mix and spaghetti was dreadful over cooked and stuck together. Used our Tesco club card pints but would never go there and pay full price. Would call it a food chain , not a restaurant. Won't go back on a hurry and would only order pizzas , would rather stay home and have my homemade pasta !

User

Arrived and drinks order taken promptly. Asked for a food order a short while later. Starter arrived quickly and was great but it's not hard to plate up an anti pasti as no actual cooking is involved. Moved onto Mains and the Chargrilled chicken was an absolute disgrace, chicken was so burnt it tasted like a piece of charcoal, smothered in a tomato sauce to try and hide it which only made it worse as this was also poor. My partner had a carbonara and this was almost a bowl of pure grease, not creamy and not delicious, when the waitress came to take the plates away, told her of the issues and what was thought of the food to be told that's how it's meant to be which is an absolute joke. Very let down and won't be returning, get higher quality food from a drive thru. Avoid if you don't want to pour money into a drain.

User

Went to prezzo last night, the food itself was lovely and have no complaints there but the service and staff were awful. The waitresses all looked grumpy and never once during the meal came to see if everything was OK. It doesn't cost anything to smile and look as though you are enjoying your job but clearly these waitresses know nothing about customer service and basic good manners. Then we came to pay the bill and noticed the bottle of prosecco we'd ordered had been charged to us at full price instead of the 50% off Easter deal which was advertised all around the restaurant. When we came to question the waitress on this she replied that there was nothing she could do now as the till wouldn't let her change it!!!!!! She had an absolutely disgusting attitude and just stood and smirked at us. It's safe to say from this experience we will not be eating here again and would certainly not recommend it!

User

Went to Prezzo for the first time because we had a gift that was given to us at Xmas. Food was quite nice to be fair but as others have said the service and attitude of the stuff is poor. I don’t like to bash people based on them being foreign but the staff here can barely communicate, we were asked to repeat things numerous times and vice versa. A smile and manners cost nothing. Not impressed and probably won’t go back. A shame as the restaurant was nicely presented but let down by a poor service level

User

Shocking customer service. Booked the Christmas menu, wasn't available, waitress wasn't happy with us as we had a free bottle of processco but was told we wasn't able to receive that and the Christmas meal.

Was left 40 minutes before they took our order, the place itself was freezing cold ( had to keep our coats on), no ambience in the whole restaurant, staff never smiled or checked on us at all to see if everything was ok.

I've had better service in my local chip shop

Won't rush to come back

User

Really disappointed booked for the Festive Menu to be told when we arrived we weren't allowed it! Then left far too long before they even took our order, never once checked to see if everything was ok (probably because they knew the answer!) it was so cold we had to wear our coats, a smile and some customer service would have been nice!! Would not recommend and certainly won't rush back! No wonder you keep sending free bottles of prosecco vouchers out to get people in except when you use them you get the worst rude service ever sorry prezzo but you were not festive AT ALL!

User

Probably giving up this time

Pizza was burnt but cold so the cheese over it hadn't even slightly melted and took an age to be served

Loads crossed off the menu but not every menu so had to confirm we couldn't have what we wanted

Last time i had 2 calzone both cold in the middle

User

One star is generous.. -1 would more appropriate.. staff could barely communicate with us.. made no effort to check we were ok and if we needed any more drinks.. We weren't told the service charge was automatically added to the bill for larger tables..whether we wanted to tip or not.. No gluten-free menu options were available even though they were told when booking one of our party needed these options... the only saving grace was that the food actually tasted quite nice

User

Last nights experience at pressing was disappointing to say the least my husbands calamari was cold and not cooked was sent back, my grandson had prawn starter which was a dish of tomatos with 3 prawns and cold I had chicken that had been batted to with in an inch of it's life and tomatoes dumped on top. It was very expensive not only for less than average food but also drinks it is asham because the restaurant it's self is good staff average will not go back. 😝

User

Just been to the Prezzo in beccles and was appalled with the service. We arrived at 12 and had our drinks order taken 15 minutes later. They didn't have any orange juice or pineapple juice or lime cordial! Once our drinks finally arrived the order was wrong! We then sat there a further 20 minutes and no one came to take our order. We then asked for our order to be taken and the man we spoke to had to go get someone else! They then went and took the order for the table next to us! After waiting for 45 minutes for order to be taken that was it. We paid for the drinks and left! No apology or offer was given. The service is usually pretty good there but it has gone down hill. The staff didn't speak very good English or appear to understand either!!! Not impressed!!!

User

Jesus, no wonder this place is going out of business, the most sullen staff I’ve ever been served by, food was mediocre at best, having the bins dragged through the restaurant really added to the ambience, generally just disappointing

User

I'd give a lower rating if I could.

The gent who served us was lovely so not a reflection on him at all.

The attitude of the lady who was working stank. Very poor customer care.

My sister ordered bruchetta for a starter and received a flat bread, she ordered a pizza that was meant to have spinach on it but was overloaded with rocket instead.

My mother's meal was sloppy and slimy.

I ordered a goats cheese and red pepper pizza and it had two thin slices of red pepper the rest was all green and did not taste fresh.

Had they have come out and told us that they had run out of ingredients (which they clearly had) we could have reordered or accepted the alternatives. To think we wouldn't notice was simply insulting.

Shall not be returning again would much rather travel to Bella Italia in Norwich in future.

User

I couldn't believe that not one of the staff seemed to even look at us let alone smile. Going out for a meal is an expensive thing to do now a days and with five of us it is seen as a treat .. this was not a treat at all . My fish was burnt my husbands prawn starter had four prawns in it !! But the main thing to me was the staff . They didn't seem that could even speak English . They all came off as very rude I shall not be taking my family there again oh yer it was an absolute ripoff as well !!!!

User

Extremely disappointed with what should have been a lovely family meal out.

Where do I start...

- The portion sizes are smaller than they used to be and half a bowl of chips served for nearly £3!!

- Mediocre tasting food for the price

- Got charged £3 to add a bit of garlic and chilli to my risotto!!

- Cream for the dessert came in a tiny jug and was off (tasted disgusting)

- Manageress just apologised at the end but with a smirk on her face

I said we were so disappointed as we did go there a lot in the past, but after tonight; we certainly won’t be going back.

Stay well away!
