Went to the Braintree restaurant, couldn’t fault the service and the chicken and wild mushroom ravioli was to die for! Definitely will be back, Thankyou for a wonderful meal for our one year anniversary 😊

Very nice and friendly service and the food was amazing

Popped in for lunch with my daughter and granddaughters, food was quick to arrive lovely and hot , excellent service and brilliant value as I used my Tesco vouchers .

Great service and atmosphere. Not too busy when we arrived at 1830 so we were pleased we got straight to a table

Food was delicious especially the mushrooms to start. Service was excellent from as soon as we walked through the door to when we left. A lovely meal out. Waitress with dark hair and glasses looked after us very well.

Excellent host who managed to move our booking forward despite being very busy. Quick, attentive service. Food was excellent. Steak gorgonzola pizza that my husband ordered was amazing and I will definitely order that for myself next time. No problems with swapping pastas and omissions from dishes. A couple of wrong dishes brought to us by mistake, but dealt with swiftly. Thank you for another lovely meal.

Went for my daughters birthday and wasn’t disappointed. There was 5 of us and all meals were great. Although very busy, the service was great. Waiters were very attentive and friendly. The only downside was they had no diet soft drinks as they said they were missing from the morning delivery. Being an insulin dependent diabetic this wasn’t great for me. I feel a large chain like this should have a contingency plan for occasions like this. There’s plenty of local supermarkets nearby so a trip there would have been a solution. They would still be making plenty of profit.

They did provide a jug of iced water though.

That said, we will be returning as we were very happy with everything else.

The food was well prepared and tasty, but the waitress was a bit lacking in the memory department. She forgot what drink I wanted after 10 seconds and also forgot to bring the water, but did remember in the end. It won't put me off and I shall return again in the near future.

Had a fantastic meal here last night. Quick service and the food tasted really good.

The only thing I would say was we were sat near the kitchen which made it very noisy with staff constantly walking past our table, the advantage of it though was seeing all the different foods served up before we made our decision!

Friendly staff though at times quite slow at serving you considering it was a quiet evening. We had calamari and a hummus starter which was both lovely, but unfortunately the mains ruined it, one because they were both Luke warm almost cold & we could see them on the shelf waiting to come to us for a good 5 minutes. I ordered Light spicy prawns with sunblushed tomatoes and chilli, on the summer special and it had THREE prawns, and my friend had Crab and Lobster tortellini which was rubbery and the chilli totally overpowered the dish, when i complained about the prawn dish the manager said its only meant to have three prawns because it's a light dish, so ridiculous and doesn't really make it a 'special' certainly not value for money.

No toilet roll in at least two of the cubicles. Cob webs in the toilet and generally their idea of clean toilets is not great. It’s not a cheap meal so you would expect a decent loo. Food was good. Service slow but not unbearable. Probably won’t go back unless desperate

Thomas is probably the rudest most disdainful server I've had the displeasure to meet. All the other staff were lovely, really pleasant to my daughter and made the meal enjoyable. The service was quick and the food tasty. However, when I told Thomas my pasta was missing mozzarella, he left it sat in front of me whilst he went off for a good few minutes to check whether i had in fact ordered it or not. I mean.....im not lying add it to my bill if it was missed, ill h

happily pay for it, I don't care but don't leave me sat there with the incorrect meal. The rest of my family are eating whilst he undertook his investigation and he even came back to question me again before returning the food to the kitchen. When the food was returned it was then cold, hardly surprising, which i told him and he actually rolled his eyes at me. At no point in any of this was he apologetic or even remotely polite. I'd also asked him for parmesan for my daughter's pasta which never arrived and had to ask another waiter. It really is such a shame because all the other staff were so lovely and friendly yet he added this awful atmosphere.

Me and my partner used to go here a lot as we really like the pastas and pizzas. But we had a horrible service and never going back to this branch. We walked in a was ignored for about 2 minutes with an empty restaurant. Then a grumpy manager came and hardly talked and just said “2” referring to how many of us and then walked very slowly to our table and didn’t ask if it was suitable or anything and walked away. About 5 minutes passed and we were asked what drinks we wanted so we ordered them but needed more time for food. When our drinks arrived we ordered our food which was only two mains. We were waiting a while and a few other tables around us were seated in that time and ordered too. After about half an hour we started getting suspicious as it was not busy enough for a long wait and as we thought that the table behind us who had arrived about 15 minutes after us had been given food which was similar to ours. We then asked how long for our meals and the chefs looked at us and said it was 2 minutes as they were just finishing it off and the waiter confirmed this. So after watching that food go to another table and another 20 minuets passing we then asked again and the waiter went to speak to his manager and then came back to tell us that our order was lost and we need to reorder but it would’ve taken about another 10-15 minutes for the food to be ready. We did not think this was really acceptable as we had already been waiting 45-50 minutes and we had other things to do. We didn’t pay for drinks because of the service so we just walked out and never gone back there again. Wouldn’t recommend as we have also had similar service in the Newquay branch.

It's been a long time since we went there for the same reasons before - on this basis it will probably be never that we venture there again. I suggest some of your staff sort their attitude problems out as they are an advertisement for your business - which is currently below standards as a result.

Extremely disappointed with this restaurant! 4 members of staff standing behind the bar talking and eating while we had been waiting for our drinks order for over 10 mins. (There was only 3 tables with people sitting for food so extremely quiet). My sister then asks for a glass of water for my niece as she was thirsty and after 2 minutes spilt the whole cup over herself! Who I believe was the manager walked passed and turned her face away from the commotion. I then had to go and ask the 4 members of staff who were still doing nothing, for some cloth for the manager to pass it to me and walk off. Completely unprofessional!!! We collected our belongings and walked out after explaining why we were leaving! We will not be returning.

Disgusting service. Foreign objects in food, God knows what was in my carbonara. As an Italian it is a disgrace for this to be labelled an Italian experience with Italian food. Mentioned about no cutlery of which I got myself. Waiters just ran away from any issue even to pay! You should truly feel ashamed of yourselves.
