Prezzo Italian Restaurant's exciting expansion plans to continue as we take up residence in the fantastic new development in Hinckley, called 'The Crescent' We're opposite the cinema and very close to the bus station. Just want to add a positive review to Prezzo (Hinckley). We visited last night and after reading the reviews was a bit sceptical. However we had a fantastic evening, food was fab, service quick, waitresses very helpful. The lady in charge, Anita, told us she has overhauled the whole place after poor reviews. She was lovely, approachable, informative and I hope this restaurant goes from strength to strength.

Had a lovely evening in Prezzo. The hostess and waitress were both lovely. Food was delicious, we had king prawns and mozerella sticks to start and they were yummy! For mains we both had pizza, they were brought out quickly and were delicious! Just across from the cinema, which was handy for us. Friendly atmosphere, will visit again! Thanks!

First time here, for the Valentine's day. Our server was Anita who was more than helpful. Since we'd never dined there before she went through the menu and explained in good detail what to expect. She also gave us recommendations to match our preferences. Both were very satisfied with service and meal. Will definitely be back again!

Excellent service from Anita and staff. Made to feel very welcome on a busy Friday night with 2 children and a baby. Food was served in good time and was delicious and hot, children's meal deal brilliant value. We were staying at a local hotel and Prezzo beat their restaurant hands down on quality and price.

The food here has always been good. However yesterday my pasta came literally swimming in a watery sauce. It was dreadful. I called the Managet over and it was obvious from his reaction - it looked awful. He was very apologetic and actually went into the kitchen and cooked it himself - we could see into the kitchen. The second try was absolutely perfect. I feel that what lets this place down is the service. Nearly every table was taken and they just couldnt keep up. People were complaining about how long meals wete taking. We saw several people walk in, no staff went to them, and they walked out. Prezzo needs more staff

Thank you for getting us in so quickly. Service was fast and the food nice. However with only one vegan starter option and one main we didn't have any choice. Maybe think about dairy free mozzarella like Zizzi and Pizza Express. Even a few more pasta options or suggestions as to what mains could be changed.

The food was lovely, the service on the other hand very poor and very slow.

This was only made worse by the fact it was late afternoon not peak meal time, they had a number of staff working and very few tables.

Doubtful we would return.

Food alright - Decent menu, but mixed bag of service. Stood around for 20-25 minutes in the doorway before we could be seated with a new-born, even though we had made a reservation. Party of 14 had been waiting longer, left and complained about the service. Not enough staff on , the few who were looked stressed to the eyeballs.

Well I had booked a table online for half 7 for 3 people we turn up on time have to wait which is fine.... but then it turned into 20 minute wait and when the manager comes over she then priorities the three other people who just turned up before us with no booking just because they have been waiting longer then us....I thought the reason you book is to get seated straight away!!!!!!!! Friends birthday meal...RUINED!!!!!!!! There was even empty tables waiting for people to sit at.....From what we could see as well the service was slow and food was being left from the kitchen with no staff taking them out to customers!!!!!!

We pre booked our table for Mother's Day. On arrival the restaurant looked in chaos, obviously under staffed! There were many empty tables dirty that hadn't been cleared. We were left standing by the door waiting to be seated for at least 10 mins. When we were finally showed to a table it was 1 that had just been vacated because the family had asked to be moved. The table wasn't wiped down for us . Service was terribly slow we waited ages to be asked for our drink order & even longer for the drinks to arrive. We had to ask for refills!. The food however was lovely with the usual Prezzo quality.

Would I return to Prezzo at Hinckley NO I wouldn't . This was the 2nd time of visiting both times there's been an issue with staffing. In future I will stick to another tried tested & more efficient Prezzo

We had a buy a gift voucher & booked for tonight at 7:00 pm. When we arrived they said we didn't have the right paperwork & turned us away. The meal had been booked with the voucher code but they didn't have any record on their system. We had travelled from Nuneaton specially for this & were looking forward to the meal. We will never eat at Prezzo again. I wouldn't be disappointed if they ceased trading.

We are regulars here and other prezzo but this was a very very poor visit, we noticed on all our food they are trying to skimp on the quality of sauce , it's now watery and like buttery on the carbonara and also the penne al rusticana was no longer tomatoey but water , hardly any cheese either on the large garlic bread sharer we had, also on the pasta , also my red wine tasted like it was old or been open ages as I normally love the house red , service was not great either but it was busy and we was in no rush but slow at times . Won't return in a hurry will keep going back pizza express as its been very good last few times we have been and better . Been left very disappointed and gutted the recipes have changed . Poor all around I'm afraid

Very slow service, and the waitress asked us to confirm the starter order 3 times... but still managed to get it wrong as one was missing and we had to wait for it. When my cocktail eventually arrived it was different to on the menu. The main course had way too much pasta to the amount of sauce and I definitely could have made a better Bolognese at home. Waited ages for the plates to be cleared and then again to pay the bill. My friend and I wanted separate bills as I had a Clubcard voucher and she had student discount but we were told that it was not possible for them to process separate bills. The couple next to us waited over an hour between their starters and mains, and then the wrong mains were delivered. Needless to say we will not be returning

Unfortunately the starters we ordered were forgotten and when we pointed this out as our mains were being served no apology was offered. When our starters did arrive we had been sat waiting for food for over an hour. It was only when a member of our group pointed out we still hadnt received an apology that we then received one. I should point out when we eventually received our food it was good

Terrible service. Waited 40 minutes for starter, then waited ages for plates to be cleared, waited ages again for main, and again a long wait for plates to be cleared. Was not once asked how are food was or if we wanted more drinks. Couple on table next to us ordered after us but were served before. Other couples walked out as didn't even have drinks after half an hour and it wasn't even busy.

Slow service, starter arrived after 3/4 people had finished eating, asked for a child's portion of risotto and was told they could do a smaller portion but would still have to charge full price! My meal come out cold and as we were off to the cinema couldn't wait another 40 min for it. No time for desert due to wait for mains and the manageress said she would allow us to pay the cheaper set lunch menu price for 2 courses even though we'd only had time to eat 1! Suggested she could charge us the cheaper set menu price and I would leave the deserts sitting in the table. Knocking off the price of my meal didn't come close to making right the mess ups. Will not be eating here again.

REALLY SLOW service, took nearly half an hour for the waitress to take our drinks and food order. Food was not as it said on the menu. The steak salad was basically a bowl of leaves and 4 thin strips of beef and it was covered in in cheese and my friend hates cheese (the menu didnt say this). The waitress completely got my friends gluten free meal wrong and ended up bringing her out pasta!!!!! Pasta??? She's Gluten free!!!!

Again had to wait about half an hour to get dirty plates taken away and then still had to ask for our pre ordered puddings. And to top it all off at the end when we went to pay there was only 6 tables left and we had to shout out for the card machine because there was no waitress to speak too. We could have easily walked out and had a free meal! It was also really cold in the restaurant. It was like being in the Antarctic.

I went to the Leicester restaurant in March and it was so much nicer and the service was 10 times better. I shall not being going to the Hinckley restaurant again!!! Such a disappointment.

Prezzo is my favourite place to go but I went tonight for a special occasion and it was a shambles. We were seated quickly and our starter and drinks order taken, the starter arrived after about 15 minutes but no sign of the drinks until I prompted the waitress after waiting a further 20 minutes. Then started waiting for our mains... Waited for an hour and 20 minutes and no sign of them and no one had advised us regarding any long waiting times for food and we had been ignored since our starter so we just left. What a let down. Drove 20 minutes there for a glass of water and some garlic bread, then ended up just getting something from sainsburys. Not a happy customer!! �

I visited over the weekend with friend's and the service was very slow but i gave it the benefit of the doubt when visiting for lunch yesterday. My husband and I was seated and given the drinks menu and food menu, we asked about the lunch menu but was told there wasn't one?

A table of 3 was seated approx 5-10 minutes after us... and some how managed to have there drinks order taken before us even though we had been in the restaurant longer. Safe to say we didn't bother staying, the level of service offered in Prezzo hinckley is shocking when ever I have visited!
