Wonderful choice of food and drinks, very good service, the best in Stowmarket .

We love Prezzo - Stowmarket, but waiting time for food can be a bit lengthy at busy periods. We've always had great tasting, hot food with a cheerful service.

User

Lovely meal god service good deals only downside was sister's voucher received at Xmas was not able to use as supposedly out of date dispite numerous occasions trying to book and on one occasion had booked and restaurant cancelled think it's unfair that a cash voucher can run out

User

We really like Prezzo, the food and atmosphere are great. The only disappointment is their Espresso Martini's, very watery and overpriced.

User

I love the food here , and i like the relaxing atmosphere ,service was quick would eat here more if it wasnt so expensive not so bad if you use a voucher code like we did

Had a lovely evening. The food was good and the staff were good too. We didn't have to wait long at all. The staff constantly made sure we were happy. I will definitely be returning.

User

Had a meal with friends and once again service not up to standard. One of us was brought the wrong meal so had to wait for another to be cooked and it wasn’t then too hot. The service let’s this Prezzo down sadly.

Very disappointing. Booked a table for 15 people on Saturday 25th February for a birthday celebration. As requested we pre- ordered our starters and main courses.

Where do I start: we waited almost 15 minutes for our drinks - half the order arrived and after a further 15 minutes and a polite reminder, the rest eventually arrived. Our starters then arrived - all except one - which arrived as everyone else finished theirs - again after a polite reminder.

We then waited and waited and waited for our main course. After further polite reminder our main course arrived after considerably more than one hour of waiting.

The food quality varied from great to appalling. The pizzas and calzones were amazing, but the carbonara lacked sauce, the pork belly had been badly burnt on one side which was then hidden burnt side down on the plate but this unfortunately did not disguise the bitter burnt taste. (This was returned)

The side dishes arrived after most of the main was eaten and some never arrived at all. Our second drinks order was "lost" and only arrived when we had finished our main course.

Worst of all in my opinion was the attitude of some of the staff. We were bluntly told that the restaurant was "short staffed" that our wait wasn't "that long" compared to others ( "some people have been waiting 40 minutes for their drinks and they haven't complained!") and we were even told that there were 20 orders in front of ours at the bar! Very rude and certainly not our problem.

After complaining about the long wait for every element of our meal, the waiting staff and the manager virtually ignored us. Only one waitress checked we were ok when our mains arrived and apologised for the wait.

Obviously we did not pay the bill in full.

I have always enjoyed eating at Prezzos in Stowmarket. Sadly not any more.

Staff friendly but little rushed off feet. Food ok but wait times between starter and main well over half hour and restaurant wasn't exactly full. 3rd visit... only came here because we had a voucher to use. Not in a hurry to return.

Service was fine, but I had a pepperoni pizza with chillis and asked for NO chills, but it was very very spicy, I asked several times if there were tiny bits of chilli on the base but no one really knew what was on the pizza.

Service is extremely slow, we were waiting a long time to receive our starters. This isn’t the first time I’ve had problems in this particular Prezzo. The staff seem very rude and uninterested. The time it took waiting for just a drink meant we just didn’t bother ordering more so they’re losing themselves money here. They brought 3 of the 4 mains out fairly close to each other and a really long wait for the 4th. Sea bass was overcooked. Such a shame that this Prezzo is letting down the reputation of the company but then again there are so many negative reviews and the company is doing nothing about it so maybe they just don’t care about their customers.

Nice meal on Sunday in prezzo, food was great accept from being disturbed by an argument between customer and manager about a little boy being charged extra £3 on his meal because he dropped some ice cream on floor and asked for another one. Seriously prezzo was it worth having the entire restaurant being disturbed for the sake of £3 ice cream and is it really necessary to charge a 2 year old for dropping his ice cream, shame on you prezzo would have expected better!

We visited this establishment this evening with friends to celebrate my husbands birthday. We were a party of 6, which included 2 toddlers. We have been to prezzo restaurants many times in the past, however the customer service I received today has put me off for life! We were seated to a lovely situated table and the children were provided with colouring paper and crayons, which they enjoyed. That's when it all went down hill. We ordered our food and the toddlers food (both of which are 2). The adults food and one of the children's meals came out. Our son kept asking where is my dinner mummy? I had to give him some of my dinner to keep him occupied. After waiting for around 5 minutes we kindly informed a member of staff that we were still waiting for a child's meal. The reply we got was "ok" and she went off. A couple of minutes later she returned with his pasta and literally just placed it on the table and walked away. There was no apology! It was obvious to us his dinner had been completely forgotten about as it came out bubbling and steaming exactly like it had been quickly zapped in a microwave. Now we all know a 2 year old is not going to be able to eat that straight away especially bless his heart as we were all at least half way through our dinners. We didn't complain and carried on with our dinner. We were then offered dessert menus, which we agreed we would like to see. No menus were bought over then the same waitress came back and said would you like dessert menus!!!! We ordered a dessert and ice cream for the children. (As this was part of their meal deal). The children's meal deals are very good value for money and are nicely presented. Desserts came out and literally as soon as my son got his ice cream, he dropped it on the floor. He was so sad and started to cry. I kindly asked one of the waitresses if she would be so kind to get him another one and explained the situation. A few minutes later we had a fresh 1 scoop of ice cream delivered. My little boy was very happy! We requested our bill at which point we realised they had added on desserts that we hadn't even ordered! My sons ice cream was also on there, for £2.69!!!! Seeing as this is a family restaurant I would of thought that one scoop of ice cream that a very sad child had dropped on the floor would possibly have been given to him for free or at least a small charge, not £2.69! We discussed the bill discrepancy with the waitress who said "it wasn't my fault he dropped it so you will be charged in full for an adults scoop of ice cream" My husband then went to settle the bill with the supervisor Victoria. Oh my gosh, I cannot believe the lack of customer service skills this lady had! This lady was rude and argumentative! If prezzo had of acknowledged their errors this evening and resolved their issues with an apology (we didn't get one!) or gave one scoop of ice cream free of charge we would of been happy that they had at least tried to resolve the problems. We asked for the supervisors name, she told us her name was Victoria but then said "anyway I wasn't looking after your table". This is just shocking, I never moan! We have had the most amazing weekend at the pigs, in edgefield in Norfolk! Prezzo has just ruined the end of a lovely weekend! We shall not be returning here!

Visited tonight for father's day treat and will not be returning! Food nice, Service absolutely shocking! I'm not normally one to complain but am shocked by what I saw tonight. We waited 50 minutes just for my children to get their Ice cream with several polite reminders we were still waiting, Had to make drinks orders 2/3 times before actually getting them, I'm shocked by how rude a couple members of staff were. Customers were leaving around us as no-one had come to take their order. Very very disappointing.

User

Very disappointed tonight. Came in for a meal had our starters then after over 45 minutes I asked where our mains were, only to be told they would be 2 mins. Basically they had forgotten to do our mains. So just left won’t be returning for a while as very disappointed. No apology was given!!

User

Just back from a meal at Prezzo and very disappointed....very slow service with no apology! I ordered a salad which was tiny for the amount I paid it looked like a starter salad and considering it was a chicken salad I was left wondering where the chicken actually was!!! My son had a pizza and added olives as an extra topping....£1.50 for 5 olives!!!! I wondered due to there being hardly any olives we wouldnt be charged...when i got the bill we had been charged for the olives. When I spoke to the staff about this he replied 'yeah that's what it is'! Disgusting....rip off food, extremely poor customer service and will not be returning. Suggest to anyone wanting a nice meal out to NOT visit Prezzo!

User

Incompetent staff. Service was incredibly slow, food was over cooked and they added chilli to something that was strictly no chilli as said person suffered with a medical issue. Just horrendous.

User

Freezing cold, incredibly slow/ poor service and over priced food... will not be coming back

User

First ever time iv been and I'll never be going back.

Where do I start?

Waiter dropped drinks on us, no apology, mopped the floor but left us and the table wet. We had to ask twice for something to clean our table with, which we had to do ourselves.

Took 20 minutes for someone to ask what drinks we wanted

1 hour to wait for starters

Someone wanted a burger with chips, fryer wasn't working so couldn't do chips. Lady doesn't like salad so had to argue to reduce the price of her meal as she wasn't getting her whole meal. Just a shambles. Such a shame as we went for a birthday and they spoilt it
