Primrose Valley Holiday Park

What a cracking place for a family holiday.

This is the first time we have had a "staycation" as we have always gone abroad. If you get the weather right then it's as good if not better than being abroad, I don't say that lightly.

Just avoid the peddle boats if you have shorts with shallow pockets as your phone might go for a swim...

Just been for a week. i liked going of season as it wasn't as packed and kids got longer on fairground rides , and plenty of space at swimming not over croweded. the swimming area was amazing we loved that although cold at times . Entertainment was very poor. ended up leaving early every night as was just torture and boring to sit threw. my little boy enjoyed the kids entertainment but he's only 3 and after 30/45 mins he was frustrated and wanted to go back to caravan as was nothing entertaining him and keeping him occupied. indoor play area very small. shop on site seemed cheap enough for last min bits and bats if ran out of things . Beach 5/10 min walk depending on we're your staying on site .

Been a few times and loved it. Site is well kept and clean, staff have been fantastic every year and it's everything you would expect from a great family holiday park. Will definitely be returning again in coming years!

We had a packed week at Primrose Valley and booked to return in 2018 when we checked out. This was our 4th Haven and the first time we'll be returning to the same site, although this is the biggest one we've done so far.
The site is really nice, some good green areas and great sea views. The beach is excellent, massive when the tide is out, the paths down are hard work with a pushchair though.
Two pools on site are good fun, the adventure pool is well done but is the busier/noisier of the two, well worth using though. The lakeside pool is a real bonus, it tends to be quieter as there is less to do but it's a lovely shallow sloping pool with a fun slide, we found this great for our younger child, also tends to be a little warmer. Lakeside area in general is lovely, the small play area outside the restaurant is a good space for kids to play.
Indoor play area is small but you'll probably hardly use it.
We've loved Haven for the kids and this site is haven with bells on, great fun.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. The staff are lovely always greeting you whichever location your in on the park. We couldn't find our caravan and a lady in a haven vehicle said follow me and drove us straight there. We stayed in a standard caravan it was spotless and plenty of room.

Larger haven site. Pool was a good size and very clean. Mash and barrel restaurant was average could do with updating. Bit of a walk to complex from touring site. Good walks around site and plenty of outdoor facilities.

Lots for everyone to do. The staff are so friendly and the food and drink is reasonably priced. Accommodation was five star and the area is gorgeous. Will be back next year.
