went to see snow white is was brill would defiantly see it a gain it was well funny would highly recommend any one to see snow white

User

What a lovely theatre. Not too big but holds plenty of people. Saw Gilbert o Sullivan there and the sound was brilliant. It was sold out but you still felt close to the act. Our seats were perfect.

Free parking Close by. Just a road to cross with a pedestrian crossing.

Had a brilliant night. I've been checking to see what other shows I would like to see there as it's close by and accessible.

User

Went to see the ABBA tribute last night....another thoroughly brilliant enjoyable evening. Have been visiting and using the Prince of Wales theatre for many years and have enjoyed countless fantastic shows there, from Freddie and the Dreamers, Brian Poole and the Tremoloes to Joe McElldery. Think it is brill Cannock has its own theatre. Will continue using for years to come. Keep up the great work. X

User

We went to see Snow White yesterday and it was great, funny production excellent dancers and well worth the money x we had a fab time x

User

We visit the theatre regularly which is great. Snow White Panto today very poor. Last year was fabulous .

Dancers all out of time , and movement Unenthusiastic and so amateurish. Dame not too bad, delivery of jokes , poor time wise , prince unconvincing in first half with movement

Second half did improve , and hate complaining , but first half poor .

One liners nowhere near as good as last year

User

Saw Gilbert o Sullivan 2 weeks ago and Dublin Ledgends last night , compact theatre hood leg room great view on raised seating. No frills but great little theatre with friendly staff , 2 great nights out and relatively inexpensive

User

Really enjoyed “And then there was none” . Excellent production ,entertaining and amusing. Cast and team ,well done x

User

Just got home from a fantastic evening of watching Snow White. The cast were amazing (even when they fell and stammered and got mixed up. Made it even funnier and they handled it very well and like professionals). My 4 year old absolutely loved it and can't wait to tell her friends. Never fail to amaze!!!

User

I won a competition to go and watch the rolling stones story last night, it was a fantastic night we had brilliant seats and the band were amazing! thanks again for choosing me x

User

User

Brilliant show by an 89 year old ken dodd. Who came on at 7.30 and finished at 12.30. I was lucky enough to be down the front when sir ken threw me one of his famous tickling sticks. (Thanks ken most treasured) .Thanks again ken and all the very best. Mark layland.

User

Attended prince of wales last night to see the great sir ken Dodd had an amazing night ken was brill and for someone who is 89 years old and still performs for over 2 hours I'd say well worth the money we paid thank you for a lovely night 😂

User

The staff at the Prince of Wales were friendly and helpful.

I watched the panto with my son. He loved it.

And so did I (12 days of Christmas song was very funny)

User

The staff were really friendly and helpful, the only thing that lets it down is the seating, if someone want to get in or out of a row, you have to all get out as the seats don't lift.

User

Dated theatre in need of a refurb. Totally inadequate toilets and uncomfortable seating.

We went to see Sir Ken Dodd and he was dire.

Obviously ill and shouldn't have been anywhere near a stage.

Opening act was good, have seen them on a cruise, local couple. The magician was slick but very dated and I too was uncomfortable with the use of animals, genuinely thought these acts were consigned to history.

The other filler act, Doddys girlfriend someone later told me was only okay.

I could continue about how poor Doddy was but this is about the theatre.

It needs a lot of TLC and money I'm afraid.

User

An amazing show but regard for those with disabilities is shocking at this theatre. We had to pick my daughter up from the stage door. By the time we got her and tried to get to the exit they had locked the lift. We explained we needed the lift and were told we'd have to go out the back and drive the car up! We could get the car near due to the amount of children it wasn't safe so had to carefully support my partner's disabled mother down the dark, pot-holed road. I wouldn't recommend this theatre for those with physical disabilities unless they are quick enough to get out before they lock up!

User

This is the second occasion this year I have found myself sitting through a performance with animals involved at The Prince of Wales Theatre...

Had I have been aware you were allowing the use of animals I would not have purchased tickets, end of.

I went to watch Sir Ken Dodd tonight.

He was fabulous as was one of his supporting acts.

The other supporting act (a so called) magician was not at all entertaining...

His act was appalling...

He used geese, ducks, pigeons and a chicken in his act.

At one point a bird fell from the stage and was rescued by an audience member...

Birds were kept for long periods in boxes while this man pretended he was performing magic.

Long after the 'act' had ended I could hear birds backstage.

I left tonight feeling very upset and traumatised and worried for the welfare of the birds exploited in tonight's show.

I expected better from the Prince of Wales.

User

The box office staff were lovely, but had to be passed over to someone else to ask about work experience for 6th form students.well lets say the 'lady' on the other end of the phone was extremely rude.my daughter had left phone messages which were ignored, as she wouldve loved to experience the theatre work.after a week of no replies, her head of 6th form rang on her behalf to be spoken to like i wouldnt talk to a dog. "Look, stop asking we have no space" then rudely put the phone down. Poor woman had asked once after introducing herself. We both agree that we wouldnt want her working in a place where they think its acceptable to speak to the public like that. Disgusting attitude.manners cost nothing

User

Rude box office staff who have no understanding in regards to people's disabilities.

Will be taking my custom elsewhere.
