The Princess Alexandra Auditorium is a 750-seat performance venue located in Yarm. It has been designed and built to the highest performance specifications.
The facility was recently awarded a commendation by the Civic Trust to add to two prestigious RIBA Awards for design excellence.

Wonderful theatre space, great facilities and lovely staff!
What a great venue for acts to perform at. Recently saw Suggs there with his show. Easy venue to get to even when we were from well out of county - although a few people in Stockton and Preston on Tees had not heard of the place and we only found it in the taxi as I had seen it was within the grounds of Yarm School.
Looking out for other acts to come and see as it was a real pleasure.
The tolet situation was the only drawback - having to also use the ones located within the school changing rooms as it was a full house and a vey long queue - it took the whole of the interval.
Visited on three different occasions each event fantastic
Superb place to watch amazing shows, brilliant facilities which are always clean and in too condition. Staff friendly and helpfull all the time!
Saw Brian blessed last night and it was a fantastic show. It's amazing to see the auditorium so full.
Never even heard of the place until we saw suggs was going to be on here. Very nice and clean, staff were very helpful, could do with more seating area outside of the auditorium though. Excellent seats, no obstructions apart from too many people going the toilet (stop drinking so much before a show). Prices were really good. Booked for heather small.
I attended last night to watch Heather Small. Fantastic evening, great venue with an amazing atmosphere!!!�

Brilliant facilities and a great addition for the surrounding area!
Amazing place just right size and the shows are brill....just seen FASTLOVE - spectacular and now booked for Alexander O'neal who last saw about 28yrs ago in Newcastle...cant wait....
A terrific theatrical space and a real addition to Teesside. Very nice staff add to a very pleasant pre-show ambiance.
A fantastic venue offering a great programme of professional and amateur performances. Great facilities inside, plenty of free parking and a beautiful riverside location. A wonderful asset to the Tees Valley.
A fantastic theatre space for creatives and audiences alike. Helpful staff, and most importantly, an outstanding view from every seat in the house.
A fantastic auditorium for the local community. Lovely big stage with top notch facilities, ideal for musical concerts and a wide range of other performances such as lectures, recitals and theatre performances.
1st visit last weekend to see Toyah what an amazing venue sound quality is the best I've heard , also very clean and friendly place ...
A first class venue for professional acts and community groups alike offering a great experience for audiences from free on-site parking to great view from each seat. While backstage facilities may not be everything you'd wish for this does allow for more creative staging ideas.
