We offer a large range of printmaking courses at our Chelsea Centre located just off the King’s Road, forBeginners, Intermediate and Advanced printmakers.
Printmaking At Kcc Description
We are a well resourced department with specialist tutors who are practising artists and we offer a range of part time day and evening classes to cater for all experiences.
The studio is light and spacious with specialist facilities for all the intaglio techniques including:
• 2 Rochat presses, bed size 26″x48″
• 1 relief press for lino cuts, bed size 16”x20”
• A UV light exposure unit for transferring images to plates
• A3 flat-bed scanner to digitise something you have drawn or photographed
• Mac and PC computers using Photoshop for post production work on images you have shot or scanned in (drawing or photographs)

Open Submission... The Bainbridge Open 2018 is an open submission opportunity for print based artists and seeks to celebrate the breadth of contemporary print practices throughout the UK and abroad. The exhibition will showcase the work of print based artists and provide a platform for emerging and established practitioners to present their work to the public and invited guests. We encourage entries from professional artists as well as early career artists and students and are very keen to see work that shows the diversity and breadth of contemporary print-based art practice today. Artists are invited to submit work to a mini print wall at the inaugural PrintFest 7. Prints must be on paper no bigger than 20cm in any dimension and can be any handprinted process. Work will be available for sale at a set fee of £100 with 10% commission.

Come and see the results of a years hard work as the Kensington & Chelsea Printmakers present their Summer Exhibition. Hand printed limited edition prints for sale or simply to inspire. The exhibition will be open 10.00-17.00 Monday to Friday from 7th July and throughout the summer.
Final work for Edition 2017 all framed ready for the summer exhibition that opens next week. All work in the "Edition" set is for sale £15/print unframed, all are hand printed in our print room at KCC by our very talented students.
