Andy is a great personal trainer. No one else has ever managed to motivate me to train! Andy is friendly and very knowledgeable about both nutrition and exercise and the personal training gym is great if you don't like training in front of other people or waiting for machines.

When I first started with Andy, my goal was simple. I just wanted to get fitter so I could keep up with the kids & enjoy racing round after them. I could have joined a gym for this, but with 2 young kids I know that it would be just too easy to find an excuse not to go. With Andy there are no excuses, he helps keep me motivated and makes me feel that I can do it. I never cancel a class unless I'm ill, I've gone when I've only had a few hours sleep and still managed a good work out, there is no way I could do that alone. I enjoy my time with Andy and I am achieving my goals of increasing my fitness and strength, I would definitely recommend giving Pro Balance a try!

I'd recommend Pro Balance without hesitation. Andy is really professional, knowledgeable and experienced. My health and fitness have improved no end since I've been training with him.

I'm 42 now, and I started training with Andy about 18 months ago. Up until then I'd barely done any exercise at all since I was at school. For that reason, I was totally put off by the idea of going to a regular gym. I had been suffering with a recurring back problem for years. Nothing major, but it occasionally got bad enough that I'd have to take a couple of days off work. My doctor told me that it was because my core (torso) muscles were weak, and if I did some core-strengthening exercises, it would sort it out. The other thing was I got a shock one day when I had to run for a bus. It was only about fifty metres, but by the time I got on the bus I was wheezing like an old man. I thought, if I don't sort out my fitness now, by the time I'm fifty I'm going to be one of those people who's too unfit to manage a flight of stairs.

I called Pro Balance, and arranged a meeting with Andy, where we discussed my health and fitness level, and what I hoped to get out of training. I started out doing just one session a week, but after a few months when I felt my fitness improving, I increased that to two sessions a week, and that's what I do now.

Over that time, I've lost about a stone in weight, my body fat percentage has dropped from about 28% to under 20%, my body has actually changed shape, and the back problem has disappeared completely. I'm literally fitter than I have ever been before, and my waist size is back to what it was when I was in my twenties. I couldn't be happier with the results I've experienced.

I started training with Andy at Probalance in 2011 to prepare for an endurance cycle event. As a former elite athlete Andy was able to provide training which was tailored to my specific event as well as improving my general fitness. I successfully completed the event and I have been training with Andy ever since. It is now an essential part of my fitness regime and the sessions consistently push me. The sessions are always tough but fun. Andy is very flexible about fitting me in around work commitments.
