Would like to give a big thanks to Pro-Event for all their help and advice they gave me for hiring lighting for my Dad's party. They were so helpful and reliable considering how short notice I gave them! I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anybody who is looking for professional advice and fabulous lighting etc for their functions, weddings or parties. Thank you again! :)

We would like to say a massive thank you for supplying our entertainment for our wedding @ Normanton park hotel 5th july :-) Guys were amazing and the music was brilliant! Dance floor was never empty :-) Would highly recommend :-):-) Thanks Mr and Mrs Howard x

We booked Pro Event Hire for our wedding on Saturday 2 September! What can I say, the service leading up to the wedding was fantastic. Charlie and the team were great at communicating and their online portal was fantastic. Ross and I got the opportunity to create our own playlist as well as inviting our guests to log in and do the same.

The evening went perfectly, the DJ Richard who we were appointed was just lovely. Catered to every request and really go our guests up and dancing.

The overall service we have received from pro Event hire has been fantastic, would definitely recommend. Thank you so much for helping make our wedding evening so memorable! :-)

These guys did Paul Cash and Sarah Cash wedding on 27th May '15. In a word, Faultless. Very organised and would do anything we asked for without a problem. Very professional and leading up to wedding the count down clock was very useful haha. Can't sing their praises enough. Would recommend in an instant. Thank you so much.

Thanks so much for all your help on the 7th Jan at The Corn Exchange, Cambridge. The party was a huge success and I have had some amazing feedback about the music played by yourselves - you certainly got everyone up and dancing - people usually tend to leave a little earlier but we still had a good amount of people there until the end - which will be down to yourselves! We booked quite late with yourselves, but it was hassle free and I had nothing to worry about as you took care of everything. Thanks again!

Thank you Charlie and the Team at Pro-Event Hire. The whole process of organising our DJ was effortless and could not recommend them more. We were able to select 60 of our favourite hits to play, and the ones we did not want to play, and the DJ built a dedicated playlist around this and effortlessly mixed between the different songs. You could also make some special requests if you wanted including when you wanted particular songs to play. You have as much or as little control as you wanted. The DJ set up discreetly and kept the dance floor full all night long!

Pro-Event know how to throw a good party! They DJ’d at our wedding and the night totally exceeded our (high) expectations. Charlie and Richard were fantastic. I was in touch with Charlie over the months planning everything. Richard DJ’d on the night and totally smashed it! He played exactly the kind of music we wanted and had everyone dancing until midnight. It was a very hot day and so the best part of the evening had to be when the guys decided to bring the decks and all the lighting outside so we could party under the stars! It was magical. Our guests didn’t want to the night to be over and were chanting “one more song” at the end, Richard happily obliged! My husband and I had the best night of our lives. Thank you!

Absolute pleasure to be part of their team on a few occasions, and to see how hard they had worked to create the Perfect vibe for the clients events was great! I hired one light for a 50th Party and it was great! No need to hire a big disco and DJ. It was perfect, well organised company and very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend Pro-Event Hire Ltd.

The truss work was delicately installed and kept minimalist. Light programming was simple and effective, and the quality of equipment was very good. Above all, the bands sounded great on the night and guest photos looked fab.



You took on an extra challenge with the custom bar light fittings and it really helped the ambiance. Many thanks once again,
