It's THAT time of the year! Check regularly between your dogs toes for grass seeds. The clump of seeds are from between 2 toes on one foot of one dog
Preparing Penny for the trialling season. Lovely flat pattern hunting, perfect marked retrieve followed by perfect blind retrieve. Clever girl x
We won this award in 2017 and were runners up in 2018. We would love to be in the final again in 2019
Due to the weather forecast tomorrow, we have rescheduled our classes. What are you doing to keep your dogs cool? Please don't walk in the heat of the day. Remember if you can't hold the back of your hand on the tarmac for 10secomds, it is too hot for your dog to be walking on it Keep them in the cool, in the shade and hydrated. If you use a cool coat or cool collar/bandana, put them on your dog while he is cool and keep them wet. Use a cool mat if you have one! Enjoy the sun... yourself Yvonne and Mary

With thunder storms around at the minute, it's worth remembering this. If your dog needs comfort, do it! You're likely to make him feel better not worse!
Yvonne is a Certified Canine Fitness Trainer and FitPAWS Master Trainer. Our fitness training is individually appropriate, with exercises tailored to the dog in front of us. All exercises are taught safely and force-free with incremental increases in repetitions, intensity and duration that will increase flexibility, strength, balance, proprioception and overall fitness at a rate suitable to your pet.
Programmes are available for general fitness, sports fitness and injury ...prevention.

COAPE have led the field in dog training and behaviour courses since 1993
An excellent course to increase your understanding of your dog
Purchased a load more plants and herbs for the dog school garden today which I hope to plant over the weekend. We only plant dog friendly herbs in the training garden to improve the sensory experience for your pets.
Feel free to allow them to self-select and have a munch on anything we grow
