Project 1961 is sharing her findings about the European film and art industry from the West to the East.

The collaborative film production company

Project 1961 develops and produces audio-visual work while collaborating with other companies worldwide such as similar production companies, funders, investors, experts, brands and NGO’s. The company is established to enable structured co-productions focusing on the creative, financial and market value at the same time.

Project 1961 initiates projects by outstanding directors with a high quality profile. The label will focus on films in different forms such as features, documentaries and innovative video art. The form and output will be divers but the films will all have in common that they reflect people’s real stories. The films have the aim to be released on international film festivals, sold to different kind of distributers, broadcasters and platforms. Project 1961 guides the films to their specific audience by creating an impact strategy at an early stage.

Project 1961 will also offer consultancy services to other fellow producers how to structure film projects in order to raise finance in other countries than their own, specialised in the European finance system.
