Project Sunride

Space is getting bigger (industrially and literally), and the industry is now thirsty for talented engineers. Our lovely team, from undergrads to PhDs at the University of Sheffield are developing new technology, skills and experience, all of which are highly relevant to the sector. Founded in 2017, Project SunrIde has been breaking records ever since. Now with multiple rockets in the design and production cycle including solid-fuelled, bipropellant, and hybrid rockets, our mission profiles are diverse and include one which aims to touch the edge of space by 2023. As our team and our ambitions grow we are interested in developing new partnerships with UK universities and industrial sponsors.
