We lost a good old boy at the weekend, our friend Pete Gajic sadly passed away. I’ve known Pete for a long time, we both raced bikes at the same time in the ‘70s & ‘80s. Pete worked in engineering all his working life and when he retired from his full time job he came to work at ProMach part time bringing a wealth of engineering knowledge with him. Pete was also a keen and talented photographer, taking some fantastic pictures on his many travels and at the bike races. He h...ad a lifelong passion for the Isle Of Man TT, (as can be seen on the tattoo!) - he used to go over every year with his best mate Bill for the TT fortnight, he took pride in seeing parts that he had been involved in making on some of the race bikes over there and also in British Superbikes. Pete decided to retire properly a while back but still dropped in now and again so we could catch up on race gossip and chat about the good old days and how fast we used to be! He will be sadly missed by us all at ProMach. Our sincere condolences go to Denice and the whole family, rest in peace Pete, we will always have fond memories of your time at ProMach.

We've had this beastie in our end workshop for a few days, now it and a prototype rearset kit are on the way to a warmer and hopefully drier place to be evaluated by a top Superstock rider. Our next phase is to refine the kit and put into production, should have some nice footrests kits for sale soon - watch this space!

In response to a recent enquiry, this is our rearset kit for the Kawasaki Z650. This kit has been used successfully this year by some of the leading road race riders.

Huge Congratulations to Davo Johnson on his first win on the mountain course. DJ worked at ProMach when he first came over from Oz, a very good machinist as well as one of the worlds top road racers, well done mate.

These are our rearsets for the latest model GSXR1000. The kit is available with or without the gear lever mount. The mount will replace the sidestand assembly for pure track use or the gear lever will fit onto the standard mount if the sidestand is to be retained. Most of the parts we have been making just lately we're not allowed to publish, but this is a bespoke plate to fit AP brake caliper onto Yamaha Thunderace fork leg and 320mm disc. One of the things we do is make different parts fit together for custom bike projects.

We keep getting calls saying our broadband will be cut off as an unauthorised third party is accessing it, this is a scam, if you get the same just hang up.

This is a replacement top yoke for a Daytona 675 so the customer can use high bars, he loves the bike but needed less weight on his wrists. The standard ignition module fits straight on, retaining steering lock.

We don't usually make handlebar clamps, these are to fit a 55mm diameter fork, the ones being used were slipping round on the fork so we have made a set with triple pinch bolts. These will take any 7/8" diameter tube and are 7 degree angle. This set are for Michael Rutter so we would like to wish him all the best for his 75th season in British Superstock 🙂

Sometimes only the faithful old Bridgeport will do the job! This is a Yamaha R6 frame set up to repair the swing arm pivot - adjuster side, the thread was worn out so we bored it out and fitted a new threaded insert. Also made a new castellated adjuster sleeve.
