First shipment of ProofTherm Insulating render and screed waiting to be loaded and sent to our newest distributor in Oman. If you're wondering why they need insulation in Oman where summer temperatures regularly hit 50c, its to keep the buildings cool and to provide acoustic insulation on the floors of multi story buildings
Our latest product is quite unique. A waterproof, insulating mortar that can be used on walls or floors to both insulate and protect from water ingress at the same time.
With a thermal conductivity of 0.09w/m2k you can get a significant uplift in thermal and acoustic insulation through your floors or walls whilst retaining high levels of vapour permeability.

New products, new markets; We're growing and expanding....looks like 2020 is going to be a fantastic year. ProofShield has just opened up a new distributorship in Oman and we expect to have an operation in Egypt up and running within the next few months. Further expansion in Europe hopefully as we are exhibiting in Sofia, Bulgaria later this month.

Need to insulate internal or external walls of an older property?
ProofTherm Insulating render/plaster is highly vapour permeable, lightweight and easy to use. Supplied in 20kg bags, you just need to mix with water and apply in the same way as a standard render or plaster base coat.
With a Thermal Conductivity rating of 0.068 w/m2, ProofTherm adds significant levels of insulation to walls whilst retaining breathability. This is an essential characteristic in older properties... in order to avoid damp and mould problems caused by impermeable and unsuitable wall treatments.

ProofTherm Lightweight Insulating Screed is an incredibly versatile option.
It can be mixed on site and poured or pumped into corners and voids to create a level, insulated base layer for a hard wearing top screed or an underfloor heating system with no thermal bridging and no cutting and taping of insulation boards.
ProofTherm Screed can be built to falls and is about 70% lighter than a traditional sand and cement screed.

How Perlite works...interesting
People ask us what our ProofTherm Insulating render and plaster looks like. Here's a close up of a section which is 25mm thick.
ProofTherm insulates with millions of air bubbles trapped in its Perlite mineral aggregate. These air bubbles also make it extremely lightweight and ensure it retains high vapour permeability.

You'll need to visit the customer and quote for the job using ProofTherm External Wall Insulating Render over ProofBase primer. Recommended finish is ProofDeco silicon enhanced mineral render thin coat but that can be discussed with customer.
UltraRend coloured render by ProofShield is due to launch in the UK in January 2019. This monocouche render has been enhanced by the addition of premium silicon and polymer modifiers. The result is a premium performance one coat render that outperforms its competitors in terms of durability, crack resistance and all round workability.
We are now looking for installation partners to trial this new formulation and offer generous rewards for anyone joining the trial and providing feedback at this pre-public launch stage.
