Today is #InternationalDayofHappiness2019 😀 The International Day of Happiness is celebrated worldwide every March 20 by 193 countries, and was conceptualised and founded by philanthropist, activist, statesman, and prominent United Nations special advisor Jayme Illien to inspire, mobilise, and advance the global happiness movement.
In #ProtectiveBehaviours, feeling happy reflects how safe a person feels based on a feeling of inner contentment. Therefore, nothing can 'make' s...omeone feel safe as an external construct, it is simply how we feel! Thinking about a Safe Place enables people to think through how feeling safe feels and what it might look like in a visual sense, and it is often a place where a person feels happy. This is important in terms of the violence and uncertainty in the World today. Are happy people violent? Do people who feel content hurt others? Do people who feel equal and safe discriminate and victimise?
Today offers the opportunity to reflect on the importance of happiness in our lives.
