Pt Kids: Physiotherapy & Occupational Therapy Description
What PT Kids does:
Provides detailed physiotherapy assessment and specialist treatment to children aged 0-19.
This includes children with :
Long term neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy (including post SDR), brain injuries, spinal injuries
Children with delayed development, down syndrome etc.
Children with dyspraxia / developmental coordination disorder
Young people with sports injuries
. . . . . . . . . and MUCH more.
Our aims:
To help children reach their full physical potential.
Allow children to achieve milestones that they many not otherwise achieve without physiotherapy intervention.
Help children and young people recover from injury to participate fully in day to day activities and sport.
Promote physical recreation and high quality physical education for children and reduce the incidence of coordination difficulties and obesity.
Create a lifelong positive approach to physical recreation.
How we achieve our aims:
We provide high quality bespoke physiotherapy no matter what the level of impairment (from children with profound physical disabilities to elite participation in sport)
Provide education to parents, carers, schools, nurseries and other health professionals.

Cameron trying FES for the first time and loving it!! Almost immediately it made a difference to his range of movement. Very happy with Emily’s visits and work with Rhys, before and after his SDR surgery. Emily is known as “the fun one” (in comparison to our NHS physios), but as well as making physio fun she does definitely put Rhys through his paces, and does very well to keep him focused. Thank you for all your help!

Our daughter has been seeing Emily for around 7 months now. She's 8 months post sdr and tonight during our session with Emily she stood unadaided for about 25 seconds. Weve worked on it since Emily left and tonight she was standing for over a minute. So proud and so thankful �
