This is ducky ( aka baby jack jack) who has been at boot camp at southern cross stud for a few weeks. He is now ready to go home with his rider Rebecca Johnston to continue his gp career. Ducky has shown a sometimes willing attitude and has learnt to be a good chap.

Starting at 11 this will last for about an hour and a half and the price is40 pounds which includes your course hire. After a few years of relaxing bondi school came out of retirement to do a small test at speedgate on the weekend he was extremely relaxed and incredibly professional and carried me through the test with the added bonus of coming second with 67% not bad for our first time together. This lovely chap is currently for sale or loan to an amazing home only so if you are interested let me know.

It is that time of year to start thinking about breaking in and training or retraining the youngsters. I have a few spaces left for young ones this coming spring and summer. We have plenty of time, patience, and expertise in youngstock handling and training. Day 2 at southern cross and Rory had a bit of a jump today unfortunately he learnt very quickly that the poles were hollow plastic and spent a lot of time knocking them down. Poor rion was very patient in putting them back up and thank you to jo for the pictures and thank you rea for looking after him today. RORY saw the physio who gave him the all clear and had an allover lavender wash before going home and grinding himself into the mud. Next week we are off to Lingfield for a gallop in his preperation for his first event at Isleham this march

Rory has come back to southern cross stud for two more days of training. As you can see he gas settled in well. Little dilly and jo were today's galloping partner as we gave them both a good blast. Jumping later. Thank you jo and rion.

So a great end to the year with Paige Harveys Vivaldi. After getting a 44 at Pulborough from a grumpy judge 6 days later he pulls off a 29!! Thats more like it. Work to do on the show jumping over winter. Amazing xc horse. I don't think there is a xc jump that this horse could not jump. Well done to Paige for all those days out hunting to teach him his job. Looking forward to many jumping lessons Cassie!!!! Hopefully by the time we get to Isleham next March we will be winning. Maybe a 2 star next year. A quick well done to Adele Ayton who got round on her new horse Louis after only having him a short time, and to Sam Bray for completing on Harry who seems to finally understand what to do. Also Sams mum for the entire emotional rollercoaster that she has survived!! Heres to 2015.

Winter is closing in rapidly upon us with alot of rain expected over the next week, and who can forget the wet winter of last year. Maybe this is the time to be looking for an inddor alternative this winter. Treetops Stud offers barn kept livery with indoor turn out throughout the entire winter. This is Treetops Stud latest foal. Born just a few days ago. She is a very pretty confident little soul out of Bijou Star,or Lumpy to her friends.

Another success for Treetops Stud. This is the beautiful Zannake, flump to her friends, who has herself been with us since she was a foal. This is her beautiful foal by Bordeaux, she is by Ferro, and he is a stunner. All her previous foals have made stunning riding horses with temperment and talent in abundance. This lovely chap is for sale at weaning so get in touch if you are interested.

Thank you to all those who have asked as Jack has now moved on to pastures new to go eventing and hunting with his new owners in Warwickshire. Hopefully there will be another new one in the winter!!!
