What a lovely restraunt, was over from ireland with some friends for a girly weekend and we ate here on the first night, the customer service we received was exceptional, such lovely staff one in particular who saved my night by helping me get pasta sauce out of my white top (soda water) who knew? Beautiful food, cocktails 4 pound 95. Great value for money!!

What a little gem of a place tucked away. Popped in here with friends on Sunday night. Food was fantastic and be prepared for big portions. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Take yourself down for a great food experience.

Second visit for us on Saturday with 4 friends. 2 of whom were running late. Staff very obliging and happy to wait. Had loaded potato wedge starter then half pasta and pizza. Was delicious and very good value for money. Would definitely return. We all left full and happy!

Sad to say that Puccini wasnt our first choice of venue, however, it defo will be from now on!! 2 adults and 2 children, girls day out, been to Theatre in Sunderland then back to toon to get some food. Was just after 7pm, restaurant was busy, but after few minutes, lovely bar man gestured us over to a table. Our girls were 8 so still qualified for the kids menu. They loved it! Good sized portions, potato skins to start, pizza and chips, then ice cream, and carton of juice. Fab, girls got extra drinks cos cartons rather small, but no probs. We shared garlic bread and olives to start, I had half pizza/pasta, my friend had stuffed peppers with salad. We ordered the house white wine, it was Chardonnay, but it wasn't bad at all. Food was beautiful, good size portions, very tasty, lush. Staff were so friendly, one lady kindly offered to take a photo of us all, and the bar man offered me a sample of wine to taste, to see if I liked it. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food, our surroundings, and the relaxed atmosphere. Thankyou so much for a great evening, we will definitely be back. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.

Puccini's is a lovely place to eat. Their menu suits all all tastes and wallets. The service is second to none with friendly and helpful staff throughout. A warm and cosy place hidden away in Pudding Chare in the heart of Newcastle - highly recommended.

I have never been disappointed by the friendliness of the staff in this wonderful establishment. The food is always top notch and the menu is constantly changing so I'm able to try something new and exciting every time I visit. Puccinis restaurant is a hidden gem with the warmest of welcomes, even by geordie standards! :-D

Have stopped here twice now to eat, having flown into Newcastle and waiting for our train to Edinburgh. Good food, nice wine, value for money and attentive staff. What more could you ask for? We will be back.

Great little restaurant I have worked with Trevor and Linda before and know they have very high standards . Would definitely recommend Puccini's. Trevor's a very good chef even staff food was cooked without fault always took a pride in his work.

Excellent food. Salmon on the lunch special was delicious!!!! Staff were very friendly and chatty. Enjoyed the banter as did my daughter who was labelled as trouble by the jokey waiter!!! A lovely couple of hours spent in lovely surroundings. Definately recommend it �

Absolutely love the food here. It is great value for money and lovely a staff. It was busy due the the Ed Sheeran playing but that didn’t stop us getting brilliant service for friendly staff and exceptional food! One word FAB!!

Potato skin starter was lovely, wasn't too keen on the chicken bake pasta, was bit watery and the mushrooms tasted like they were frozen ones rather than fresh but everyone else's food looked nice and no complaints. Think maybe I just picked the wrong choice. Wouldn't stop me going back to try something else.

Came last night with my friends but I didn't enjoy my food. Penne arribiata was awful so bland and looked like mush, just didn't taste like all the other Italian food I have had before. Potato skins were too greasy and not crispy at all. Sorry but wouldn't go again.

ordered wine as we sat down waited and waited food came and we had to ask for our wine again when it did finally come there was floaters stuck to the inside of the glass never again will we go there

Was here last night on works Christmas night out! A couple who were with us wanted a starter each and a main to share but we’re not allowed to do this if they wanted to drink alcohol 😳, never heard anything like that in my life! My starter was ok, I ordered half pizza half pasta for my main. Pizza was burnt and the carbonara pasta was revolting. A few people’s main courses were removed from the final bill as they weren’t edible. I have ate here before and food was fine, I’m not sure if the poor quality food was because it was a large group but it has definitely put me off returning!!

I would love to say how good the food was but unfortunately didn't get a chance to try it.

Arrived at the restaurant at 1.30pm today to be greeted at the door by one of the waiters enjoying his cigarette break, on entering we were quickly followed in by the waiter, who nodded to "Jimmy" (another waiter) we're closed.

Surely when your restaurant advertises opening hours of 12-2pm we should have been offered a table.
