Today we welcomed back Harpy the American working line labrador for a stay and play visit ūü•įūü•įūü•į
Harpy was very keen to get the ball games going straight away! And chased her tennis ball all over the place.
Quick stop for her lunch but then it was straight back to fun time!! All about the games and goofing around ūü§™ūüėā
... Some time out in the garden and not forgetting tons and tons of cuddles and fuss ūü•įūüźĺ
Not to mention her keen interest in my bag she sniffed that bag to within an inch of it's life! Bet she could identify every dog I care for from that bag ūüėāūü§£

Two very snoozy puppers today ūüėīūüėīūüėī more interested in napping and eating than anything else ūüėāūü§£
No zoomies or anything on our walks, they just mooched around eating grass ūü§£ūüėā so quickly cottoned on they were feeling a lazy day! But boy did they move double quick time when I was dishing out their teas and sorting out kongs for tomorrow! ūüėāūü§£
... So a lot of time spent cuddled up to me on the sofa just snoozing the day away ūüėī

Dita had a surprise gift today from a friend of mine and Dita was super duper excited with her gift ūüė¨ūüė¨ūüė¨
We managed to get out on a pooch mooch but kept a close eye on the temperature and Dita to make sure she didn't get too hot. We worked on her loose lead walking carrying on the great work Sam and Emma have been doing with Dita under the new behaviourist. And Dita smashed it out of the park she was fab!!
Then back home for a cool down in her pool ūüĆäūüĆäūüĆä and more play time fol...lowed by cuddles and a nap ūüėī

We had big cuddles and fuss as we hadn't seen each other since our mammoth house mate/pet sit a little while ago.

A nice slow and steady amble with Kia today ūü•į
Kia was in full on sniff-a-thon mode and taking her time.
We passed a lady with her reactive labrador and all was fine! Think the lady was just grateful to come across someone who understood how it is to walk a reactive dog and to take the appropriate steps without being asked, prompted or being ignored. ūüėÄ

Back with Luna this morning ūü•įūü•įūü•į
One very happy and excitable pupper when I walked in ūü•į
Haven't seen her for a couple of weeks but we made some progress again with Luna going out in to the garden on her own and being confident and relaxed ūüė¨
... We had a little issue when the postman arrived to deliver the post but we encouraged Luna to go and investigate and have a good sniff around. And Luna calmly walked back to the living room without a care in the world ūü•į
We started some very basic scent games to help focus Luna so she doesn't pay to much attention to traffic noises and other things that spook her. It went really well for our first attempt ūü•į

Going through today's pictures to send across and some aren't as sharp as normal as I forgot my charger and powerpack and as the day went along I had less and less battery life to the point my phone went in to power saving mode and reduced the processing power of the phone.
Which does effect the camera speed etc. And I didn't get chance to nip and get a temporary charger until most of the way through the day. So on some walks I didn't take as many as usual.
Plus after I acc...identally dropped my phone on a walk a couple of weeks ago I've noticed the camera does struggle when it's overcast, grey skies and gloomy or if the dog is dark in colour it just isn't as sharp in capturing the detail.

When you haven't seen each other in around a month or so. So you make a huge fuss as you stand in the doorway dishing out cuddles, belly rubs and say one of your silly dog walker greetings "whose my big sexy man" only for a delivery driver to be walking down next doors driveway and thought you were talking to him ūüė≥ūüė≥ūüė≥ūüė≥ that's not awkward at all....

This evening we also had a little feline tag along for some of our pooch mooch ūüźēūüŹÉ‚Äć‚ôāÔłŹūüźą ūüėāūü§£
We did a mixture of on lead walking along the paths and briefly took in some kids rugby practice which Rejjie wanted to join in on ūüėāūü§£
... Then we turned around and went to their off lead fields for zoomies and play ūü•į
Back home for fresh water and more play

Dita had a blast today in her pool, sadly the dangerous water noodle was out of action so Dita had to make do with a watering can but that didn't stop her attacking the water ūüėāūü§£ūüėāūü§£
During play time I noticed that Dita was molting a lot and knowing Dita can have irritated skin issues we took Dita for a full proper shower with doggy shampoo to get all the excess hair out of her coat and dried her off and after that Dita was quite happy to just snooze on the sofa ūüėīūüėīūüėīūüėī

Apollos visit from today ūü•į
We had a very productive walk!
We came across a lady who I'm thinking was a fellow dog walker and she had multiple dogs and treat pouches, leads, water bottles etc all around her (the typical professional dog walker look ūüēļūüíÉ ) and she was fab! Gathered all her dogs and popped them back on leads and we passed each other without any issues. If I knew who the lady was I'd tag her business in this post as she walks your dogs you've got a great walker!
... Apollo took notice but ignored the geese on the lake which was just what we wanted him to do ūü•į
It did go Pete tongue when we came across a cat who wouldn't leave us alone ūü§¶‚Äć‚ôāÔłŹ but Apollo composed himself and carried on to home for his Kong and fresh water
