Puddle Ducks West Hertfordshire, Luton & Dunstable delivers individually tailored swimming lessons for Baby & Pre-schoolers as well as Aquanatal classes

Puddle Ducks West Hertfordshire is a swimming academy and is part of a national franchise. The business was launched with the baby and pre-school swimming programme; there are 5 different levels in the programme segregated by age. Puddle Ducks take a gentle approach with children, adapting activities to suit their individual stage of development, we offer ‘catch up’ sessions for missed classes and focus very heavily on teaching person survival skills.
To ensure progression each lesson is carefully planned and is different. Each activity within the lesson is tailored to suit a child’s ability, ensuring those who need more support receive it. Our lessons allow each child to progress at their own pace, ensuring that we are working on water confidence, both above and below the water, as well as technique and personal survival. We offer certificates and badges to our children so that customers can have a record of their child’s achievements.

Personal Survival is one of the more important parts of our programme; once a term we teach our life saving Pyjama Party lessons where all the teachers and customers swim in their Pyjamas.
This aims to highlight the change in buoyancy so that children can learn to cope in water with clothes on should they fall into water. This skill is vital as it could potentially save their life.
For Aquanatal, we charge an administration fee to cover the ladies’ insurances then allow them to come to the classes for free.
