To all our customers, we would like to thank you all for another lovely season sailing with us to Coquet Island, our 2018 season has ended and now closed for the winter. We will return again in March as soon as the Puffins return to the Island in mass numbers with updates on this page. I'd like to share with you this lovely video put together and captured yesterday of us returning home after doing some essential maintenance to the lighthouse just before the winter storms come in and batter the Island over the next few months. Thank you all and see you in 2019! Video made by Anthony Robson and his brilliant drone !

Its that time of year again where the Puffins and the Pufflings (young) have matured At Coquet Island. Getting ready in there masses to leave and begin Migrating into the North sea and beyond to the Atlantic Ocean until next march when they will return to the Island. Last chance to see them in there masses, over the next few weeks numbers will be thinning away leaving behind the many other species at the Island.
A close up the Coquet's red listed species the rare Roseate Tern and a chick enjoying the jetty on the Island today. This year there has been a successful 117 pairs nesting on Coquet Island. https://www.rspb.org.uk/ŌĆ”/wildlife-guŌĆ ”/bird-a-z/roseate-tern

He will be looking forward to seeing everybody and getting your attention, if not he will deffinately be at the other end of the Phone pulling at the wire!!

¤É¼¤É¼¤É¼¤É¼Dolphins tonight behind Coquet Island !
More great sightings of Dolphins this afternoon making a nice end to the day, fantastic!
Great sighting on this morning's trip out, a pod of dolphins putting on a show around the boats this morning, unfortunately the only picture I could get.
Mondays sailings the Puffin's which have had a hard time this year with all the poor weather, had finally arrived at Coquet Island which is a welcome sight to see!
We had a fantastic time on the cruise yesterday despite the wind, rain and the choppy sea (which all added to the enjoyment). We'd watched the boats sail out from the harbour the day before so decided to book for the next day. We got to see the seals popping in and out of the sea and there were still a few puffins to spot. My little boy was delighted that he had the chance to steer the boat even though he did go a little green around the gills ¤śé. He enjoyed it so much he wants to come back and do it again! Well worth the money, interesting, informative and fun! Thanks for a fab trip ¤śā
The best day of our holiday. We loved the personal attention and friendly relaxing trip. In fact if we had time we would have gone on this trip again this week! A massive 10 /10 to the family for running these cruises, long may it continue. ’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į
Thanks so much to the guys what an amazing evening, what an experience! We all thoroughly enjoyed every minute.
Thanks for a great trip. Seals, puffins, terms and lighthouses. Great crew who are obviously highly experienced seafarers, but relaxed and laid back. Recommended.
Thanks for a great trip today. We saw loads of seals, puffins and other seabirds. A fantastic trip with a friendly company.
Thank you for the best boat trip today. To end with dolphins swimming alongside and under the boat was the best experience. Both us and the kids canŌĆÖt stop smiling.
Lovely early evening cruise, saw puffins flying all over the place as well as seals and plenty of terns including roseate terns. Would thoroughly recommend.
Had a lovely time on the puffin cruise would definitely recommend it. IŌĆÖve lived in the area all my life and never been before, now I wish I would of done it a long time ago. Thank you for a lovely day ’┐Į ŌĆö with Michelle Dunne Pearce and Diane Proud at Amble By the Sea.
Had a great trip with Bill and Dave on Sunday evening (5.15 May 20th) We were excited to see puffins and seals then forgot about them when we saw the dolphins! Dave knew just where to put the boat so that we could all get a great view of every part of the island. We were so excited when we got back that we booked up again for this morning's trip at 9.15! No dolphins this time but the light was brighter and from the opposite side, of course. Plenty of action from puffins and terns and the seals made a lot of noise. We'll be back - have a great summer, Bill and Dave and thank you very much.
Had a great time, was perfect for our young children - only one hour, and we saw so much wildlife, including a seal right next to the boat. The people running the Puffin Cruises are really friendly and knowledgeable. This was our second year of going.
Had a fantastic trip on the boat today. We saw lots of seals. Our girls got to drive the boat back towards the harbour. Staff are really friendly and informative. Had a good laugh whilst we were riding the rather large waves. Fully recommend!
Great friendly service, excellent trip and thoroughly recommend it for any ages, a great local business.
Friendly helpful and great making our grandchildren day daughters and ours. ’┐Į per cent would use agin when I next visit huge thank you
Fantastic trip today thank you to all involved, we will be back and will recommend it to everyone.
Fantastic trip out to COQUET Island - plenty of birds and seals. Would Definitely recommend this trip.
Fantastic experience, saw so many curious seals. Great to get up close to the island, in fact we were lucky enough to deliver supplies to the decorators. Thanks to the three friendly crew who told us all sorts and answered our questions. Must apologise for squealing and gripping Daves arm when the boat took a lurch.....sea legs need to grow.
An excellent evening puffin cruise tonight. Lovely and knowledgeable staff. All kids and adults thoroughly enjoyed it. DidnŌĆÖt see any dolphins but plenty seals and different birds . Recommend this to everyone. We are so lucky to have this on our doorstep ¤Öé
An amazing experience. Professional and informative as well as being a great trip.
Did we see Puffins - you bet we did! We were amazed by how many were around. The boat was also surrounded by seals whilst out at Coquet Island.
We were on the 2nd trip of the day. The first was fully booked so a 3pm sailing was added too.
Thank you to Dave and his team for a fabulous Amble Experience.
Although we knew there was no puffin's, this didn't distract from the sheer delight of been on a boat in the choppy sea- seals were curious and came tonsay hello... annoyingly, just as you tried to take their photo they would bob under the water, the sea birds were also abundant
We would recommend going on puffin cruise highly
