Hi hope you are all ok we have done a whole week already!! I think it’s actually gone quite quickly I’m back on my jobs today Having had my bathroom done over 2 years ago I had never got round to cleaning the bits of messy grout off the tiles and painting the skirting boards so that’s my job today along with using a grout pen to re whiten any dirty grout (oh I must be very bored to do this 🤣🤣) What projects are you doing today? unfortunately the dogs have been told to stay downstairs while I do this as they try and jump up the ladder to get me 🙄🤪

Just a reminder I still have some brushes and combs available for free if anyone has a fluffy Cockerpoo or doodle type dog that needs regular grooming I uploaded a video a few days ago about how to brush your dog correctly and I will help anyone that has any questions A word of warning grooming can be very dangerous even us groomers that have been trained and have a lot of experience have occasional accidents dogs move unpredictably, stick tongues out when not expected and the tools are very sharp Dogs that get in a mess over the lockdown can be shaved short once all resumes to normal it may not be a pretty groom but safer than an injury 🐾🐾🐾

Feeling a bit groggy today got a sore neck, throat and ears, cough seems to have gone though so sticking to light cleaning of salon equipment 💕🐾🐾🐾

I’ve now popped into salon to collect the brushes and combs I promised you the combs are new the brushes are used but I have sanitised them obviously free for all you Cockerpoo and doodle owners Also collected a boot full of equipment so I can start cleaning and repairing these in the next few days got to stay busy or go crazy 🐾🐾🐾

I’ve spent today cleaning and tidying the house I’m not sure these guys are getting the no dogs on the bed rule 🤣🤣🤣 how’s your day going? 🐾🐾

Staying productive and positive today I managed to paint my utility room and outside table I have a few glossy pugs how about you? 🐾🐾🐾

Here is a little advice about home grooming from Colin Taylor one of the top groomers in the industry, I will be following up with some tutorials🐾🐾

I’m going to be doing some videos to help you all maintain your dogs during this lockdown People with dogs with fluffy coats the most important thing will be brushing and combing I have a selection of old/ used but good condition brushes and combs I have sanitised and you are welcome to them if it helps I would say breeds such as cockerpoos, doodles ect will be the most in need if you comment below if these will be helpful I can leave them a safe place outside my house for you to collect 🐾🐾🐾

Thank you for your kind messages it has been a tough decision to close, and I find it very hard doing nothing I’ve spent the day with these terrors doing a bit of gardening with a 15 year old daughter that doesn’t come out her room anyway these guys have had to put up with my chatting 🤣 what’s everyone been doing to keep yourselves busy? It’s with a heavy heart I have decided to close the salon until we all know more I have woken up today with a cough which is probably just a normal cough but who knows? I believe it will be insolation for everyone in non essential work very soon so feel now is the right time We are sorry to let people down but will be back to normal as soon as we possibly can 🐾🐾🐾
