Loaded the latest shipment bound for Bresser this week. knackering to load, but good to see them ready to go and Bresser doing so well!
First images form the Pulsar HQ observatory! It's taken a fair while to get everything together and actually be around on a clear night, but we are now all systems go! Taken through a Takahashi FS60 with field flattener and EOS1100d guided with a Starlight Xpress Ultrastar guide camera. Seeing wasn't great - lots of moisture in the air but still clear...
Finally Imaging in the dome! This is the fist opportunity we’ve had to use our dome in anger for months given our schedule and the weather. Opened the shutter and was imaging within 10 minutes. Trying our new imaging setup- Takahashi FC60 with flattener and a Starlight Xpress Ultrastar for guiding. Am now sitting in the warm with a beer waiting for the exposure run to finish. That’s the way it should be.
Terry's 2.7m full height remote from the week before last. I forgot to upload the pictures! This was a really nice setup - completely un-obstructed southerly horizon stretching over farmland all the way to the sea with great East and West also. Being in rural Sussex with minimal light pollution it should perform very well indeed.
In Bolton today working on this 2.7m full remote dome in a custom colour. It was built in 2015 by the school and we went out for a service. I have to say it is probably the best 2.7 short wall observatory I have seen. The interior is fantastic and the amount of local kids and groups it is used by is phenomenal! What a great use for a brilliant observatory!
Ray’s 2.2m sage green with full remote and 2 bays from this week. Lovely surroundings and will prove to be a fantastic observatory -especially as the control room is also a home cinema!
Lovely 2.2m full height remote observatory in Lancaster from this morning.
Simon’s 2.2 with drive and bay from this morning in Dorset
Ron’s 2.2 sage green installed this morning in Kent.
That was a job and a half! Still, 13 domes prepped, loaded and on their way. Now for a beer.
2.7m full height with 2 bays in Esher today.
David’s 2.2 short height full remote rooftop installation. Fantastic setup and will be fantastic when it’s finished!
Williams 2.2 full height just finished in N.E Scotland. Bill did a brilliant job self installing and we think it looks fantastic!
Charles’ Custom height 2.2 robotic from today.
Getting ready as it’s looking like it may just stay clear!
