To all my clients who have lash extensions on,here are a few tips for you all to make them last a little bit longer☺️
Try and sleep on your back as much as possible as this prevents premature lash loss that would come with laying on your side and rubbing your lashes on your pillow.
Avoid rubbing your eyes whenever possible. as this can cause your lashes to twist out of place, also don’t touch your lashes as the more touching, tugging, and rubbing, the weaker your extensions b...ecome and the more likely they are to fall out or break off before they’re suppose to.
When you wash your face and take your make up off ensure your face wash and makeup remover is oil free as oil-based makeup removers cause the glue to dissolve.
Make sure you do NOT put mascara on, even if you start to see gaps. Mascara will make them come out a lot quicker as most of them are oil based so will dissolve the glue and shorten the life of your lash extensions.
And lastly dont stand under the showerhead for too long as the weight of the water can lead to premature breaking. You need to them brush your lashes gently afterwards to get rid of the excess water.
For those of you that want to remove your lashes safely you should use anything oily such as olive oil, baby oil, coconut oil , Vaseline etc.
Steam your face over a hot bowl of water with a towel draped over your head for around 10-15 minutes. Then gently swipe your upper lash line and go underneath lashes so the oil reaches the root but be very careful and use little at a time so doesn’t go in your eye. This will loosen the extensions and help them slide right off your eye.
Whatever you do, do NOT pick your lashes off as they will pull your own lashes out with it.
