PURE Pursuits Portugal Stage 3 | Morning hike followed by cycle through ancient olive groves - some over 1,000 years old - before arriving into stunning @sao_lourenco_do_barrocal after two nights of camping! With discussions en route, our final workshop with our second guru, mindful & leadership consultant Palma Michel, it was time for dinner under the stars and an incredible Cante Alentejano live performance by 20 local cantadores. PURE Pursuits New Zealand Stage 3 & 4: the final stage took us on a 20km cycle, jet boat down the river and over the lake to our final camp spot at Walter’s Peak Station. Our final discussions were overlooking the lake and in a centuries-old wool shed while our second guru Angie Bradbury hosted the final workshop of the Pursuit. Back in Queenstown, the grand finale dinner was in picture-postcard Arrowtown. PURE Pursuits New Zealand Stage 1: 16km hike on Ben Lomond track into the back country above Queenstown. After 8 hours, 30,000 steps and an impressive uphill climb, we arrived at the homestead where we camped overnight under the stars. PURE Pursuits Costa Rica was one for the record books! 20 leading minds in travel joined forces to hike through puma-populated jungles, raft down 20km of grade 4 rapids, cycle, climb and swim through some of the most remote and magnificent parts of Costa Rica. Final day of PURE Pursuits and we headed out to the water for a day of fun in the sun. Snorkelling, stand up paddle boarding and underwater fun on the Seabob. Followed by Discussions on the bow of the boat and lunch at a beach club where we had local monkeys jumping from tree to tree above us. Then it was back to reality via private charter to San Jose and our final workshop where we created the 10 Pura Vida Principles and reminisced on 5 days together forging friendships and incredible insights and business ideas. Stage 3 of PURE Pursuits was mountain biking through a regenerated dry forest and climbing a massive 30m strangler fig tree - with most of the group reaching the top and ringing the bell with massive satisfaction. Then it was off to our final camp spot, right on the beach where we had our most epic Discussion to date (on any PURE Pursuit!) in the water while we watched the sunset. On stage 2 of PURE Pursuits Costa Rica we rafted 20km of grade 3 and 4 rapids through the rain and intermittent blue sky until we reached our lunch spot in a local Soda where we celebrated Luke’s birthday, followed by his Discussion. Then we headed to our second camp spot amongst the sulphur hot springs for a 90 minute workshop, followed by an evening Discussion in the hot springs - a first for PURE Pursuit!
