We are a small company based in Suffolk making a delicious selection of fresh pesto, hummus, soups and dips.
Purely Pesto Description
Gavin had been a chef in Suffolk for 12 years before setting up Purely Pesto in 2006. It started with the simple idea of creating a fresh, rustic pesto, like the Italians. A trip around Italy sampling Italian pesto was the inspiration to begin creating a similar product for the UK shelves.
Basil and Sundried Tomato pesto were the first flavours to be tried at Suffolk farmers' markets. The range quickly grew from 2 to 30, which extended to include hummus, soups and sauces.
All our products are made to order using only the highest quality ingredients. Gavin picks the fresh herbs and vegetables weekly from New Spitalfields Market. All our products are hand made in small batches by Gavin to ensure consistent flavour and quality. We don't add any artificial flavours or colourings.
