User

love it! There's no place like home. When you walk down by the river, hit a few bars for food or drink you almost always end up chatting to new friendly people. It feels like your on holiday in a quiet village somewhere not 10 minutes from busy central London.

User

Very nice part of Town. Could do with better Dining Options though.

User

To me Putney is like a magnet. I've lived in other places in London and all round the world, but I keep returning - it's home. It has it all - great transport (not many places can boast of two tube stations) - a great many restaurants and pubs - the river, the commons, the parks, the heaths. Then you have the history - Oliver Cromwell and the like.

User

Putney is thriving, with something for everyone!

Pubs, dining, shopping, walks and history - St Mary's being where the famous Putney Debates were held.

The Wildlife and Wetlands Trust is a short walk down the river, and for Bishop's Palace and Park just cross the river. Putney extends South up Putney Hill to Putney Heath and two great pubs "The Green Man" and a little further on "The Telegraph".

User

Lovely area with some beautiful and peaceful roads off that hide some absolute gems of properties. Then, of course, there is the Embankment minutes away. Good feel about the place and some very good cafes etc to eat and drink.

User

User

Love Putney...it has everything ...and is so well connected...to central london

User

Love Putney! I live in Sweden and visited friends that live in Putney.I prefer Putney&Chelsea over London because it's charming, calm, beautiful and good shopping!

User

I was born there 62 years ago, schooled there, played there, hospitalised there, loved there, worked there, bought my house there, ran a pub there, drove the busses there, brought my children up there , and left 8 years ago,.... but still have hundreds of friends there. Putney is, and always will be in my heart..... I still work there, drink there, eat there, ......well sometimes....my ghost, ( if there is such a thing ) wanders the streets even now..and when my time comes, what's left of me will be scattered there.

User

I have lived in Putney for forty years and would never consider moving.I feel safe here as I have never encountered any kind of threat at my home or in the street. I love all the features of Putney: geographical, people , shops, facilities, entertainment and social opportunities and transport links.

User

Home for a long time now. One of South West London's real areas and long may it continue along the park and river.

User

Exceptional. I am so grateful for the excellent advice the instructor provided and the imminently capable stylist who did fabulous work. Well done!

User

Absolutely wonderful night out, there's a five guys and afterwards we popped to the high street for a few cocktails and some chart music by a real live DJ until the early hours (1am). A memorable night on the town for under £300.

User

Very disappointing. I went shopping and only purchased six underpants when I'd intended to procure at least 8. I love the area, but the shopping mall needs to cater more for men's nether regions.
