About Pwc Careers In The Uk

Your career is just that; yours. You choose it. You live it. You make it happen. To get the best from it, you need the best opportunities.

Pwc Careers In The Uk Description

That’s why opportunities are at the heart of a career with us. Opportunities to grow as an individual, to build lasting relationships and make an impact in a place where people, quality and value mean everything. And we’re proud, based on the opportunity we offer, that students have voted us the number one Graduate Employer in The Times Top 100 Graduate Employers survey for the last thirteen years.

Our purpose is to build trust in society and solve important problems. We do this for our clients by helping them tackle complex business challenges, improve how they work and create the value they need.

Where you could work
There are many areas of our business you can choose to join:

Actuarial
Assurance
Consulting
Deals
Legal
Tax
Technology

All routes offer you the same deal. The opportunity to grow as an individual, to meet new people, and build lasting relationships that will stay with you for life. In return we need people who are resilient, willing to work hard, are quick to learn, and who, above all, are passionate about going the extra mile to help our clients.

Ways you can gain work experience:
We have work experience opportunities across all our business areas. Our programmes will help you learn where your skills, interests and career goals would best fit into our business. You could spend as little as one day with us on a career open day, or if you’re looking to invest more time, you could apply to our summer internship programme or perhaps one of our work placements.

Our offer to you:
• Be part of the world’s leading professional services global network.
• Experience the best opportunities to learn, grow and excel, by learning on-the-job, learning from others, and through formal learning.
• Work in a supportive culture with access to a wide range of people to support your development - professional qualifications team, tutors, career coach and mentor and independent careers service team - to help you steer your career in your chosen direction.
• Be at the forefront of innovation and the heart of the digital revolution.
• Earn a competitive salary, holiday banking where you can accrue up to 40 days holiday and the ability to design a benefits package to meet your personal needs.

What we look for:
For most of our programmes, we welcome applications from all degree subjects. You’ll need to demonstrate the skills and behaviours that support us in delivering our business strategy. This is important to the work we do for our business, and our clients. These skills and behaviours make up our global leadership framework, ‘The PwC Professional’.

The PwC Professional focuses on five core attributes; whole leadership, business acumen, technical capabilities, global acumen and relationships. We use this framework to recruit, develop and assess our people at all grades and in all areas of our business because we expect all of our people to be leaders.

How to apply
For most of our programmes we welcome applications from all degree subjects. The skills and experiences you develop with us will stay with you throughout your career. So join PwC. We’ll help you reach your full potential.

Take the opportunity of a lifetime.

There are a number of ways you can engage with PwC whilst you are still at school or college, all of which will help you find out more about who we are, what we do and our core values. You can come and spend a day with us at our office open events (including our new Females of the Future events), both of which are held at our offices across the country and are open to all.
PwC is very clear that our people are the heart of our firm - attracting the right talent is key and as... a progressive employer we’re engaging with the workforce of the future to ensure we inspire candidates of all genders, ethnicities and from all walks of life to consider a career with PwC. As a result, some of our events may have a particular focus but anyone can attend them.
We are delighted to have launched our new Technology Females of the Future event, designed to help inspire and support you to learn more about our Technology Degree Apprenticeship in collaboration with Queen's University Belfast and to show you what a potential technology career at PwC could look like. The programme is a one-day event held at a PwC office in Belfast and is open to all 5th year and lower 6th students, regardless of gender.
The day will consist of a series of fun and engaging activities which will help you understand your skills, focus on your core values and how these could relate to your career choice, all whilst learning more about what it is like working at PwC, from the people who actually work here.
Throughout the day you will hear from a range of female guest speakers, be inspired by our leaders and there will be plenty of opportunity to ask lots of questions, or just sit back and listen, whichever is your preference. You will hear about how you can continue to engage with us during and after your time at school or college. Finally, we’ll end by sharing with you our focus on diversity, why it matters so much to us and break down some of the myths around the recruitment process.
The day includes refreshments and a tasty lunch.
