What can I say other than that our wedding at Pynes House in July went like a dream. We knew that the place was stunning inside and out having visited twice in advance of the big day but of course you always have niggling doubts as to how things will run. Thankfully Kate and the team at Pynes House were on-hand to make sure things ran like clockwork despite a couple of organisational hiccups on my part. Thoroughly professional.



I only wish it hadn't gone so damned quickly so that we could do it again. I'll always remember the trickling of the fountain in the background as we said our vows. Magic!



Fantastic venue, highly recommended.

We got married at Pynes House on Saturday the 7th July 2018 and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The house itself is even more stunning and light filled than the photos on the website and the grounds are beautiful.

We decided to have our ceremony in the entrance hall of the house as we loved how unusual this space was and we were so glad we did as we really liked how intimate the space was and that our friends and family could all see and hear us. Some of our friends performed songs during the ceremony and the acoustics were great. After the ceremony, we had confetti thrown in front of the house followed by a drinks reception in the beautiful rose garden with the pond in the middle of it.

We had our meal in the ballroom which is such a stunning room so simply decorated and full of light. The same goes for all the bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs, everything has been decorated so perfectly and super clean. The bridal suite was more than I could have hoped for and my bridesmaids, flower girls and I had a lovely morning getting ready there.

We asked our band to play outside in the rose garden as the weather was so nice in the evening and this worked really well. Everyone was dancing around the pond.

Kate at Pynes was a pleasure to deal with and was easily contactable before the wedding with any questions we had. I really liked her laidback attitude and she was accommodating with any of our requests.

Zoe was at the venue on the Friday and Saturday to help and organise things and she was great. Really helpful and made sure everything ran so smoothly.

I would definitely recommend Pynes to any couples looking for a beautiful place to get married set in a stunning location with amazing rooms.

We cannot speak highly enough of Pynes House. Not only is it the most fabulous venue, Heather, Geoff and Kate were all so helpful both on the day and with the build up. Nothing was too much trouble and we had the most perfect day. We would recommend it to any couple.

We are so pleased that we chose Pynes House as our wedding venue. The house and gardens are truly stunning. The sunny weather meant we could enjoy drinks on the terrace before going into the ballroom for our wedding breakfast. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated and the breakfast was delicious. Rachael and Matthews wedding at Pynes House in December was just perfect. Pynes House is stunning both inside and out. The house has been restored so lovingly, maintaining the period features but giving it a modern style. The bedrooms - all of them are comfortable and beautifully furnished. Heather, Kate, Rosie and the rest of the Team at Pynes House were on-hand to make sure things ran smoothly. They all made us feel so relaxed and nothing was too much trouble- it was the perfect wedding. Thank you all so very much.

Through the entire duration of arranging and planning our wedding, Heather & Kate kept in touch and made it so easy and simple to sort everything that when we arrived on the Friday, it almost felt like coming home! As soon as I saw Pynes House and we walked around the rooms and grounds I knew we would get married there, and it definitely didn’t fail to disappoint. I loved hearing the stories of the history of the place and I adore the uniqueness of how each room has its own character! Jo was absolutely amazing all weekend helping us throughout, making us feel at ease. We absolutely adored every single second of our wedding day, and I will be recommending Pynes House to everyone! Waking up to the gorgeous vistas, staying in the most beautiful rooms; our wedding party was floored by just how spectacular their accommodation was. Heather and Jo made sure the day went off without a hitch, and our guests complimented not only the stunning location, but how well everything flowed throughout the day, which was down to their guiding hands. The team were a dream to work with and were attentive throughout the months leading up to the wedding and on the actual day. It's hard to put into words just how perfect Pynes was for us, bringing together our family and friends (from both sides of the pond!), to create the most special day that we will never forget. Now we need an excuse to go back!

Our wedding took place at Pynes House on the 14th April 2018, and it was amazing. Pynes House is a beautiful venue, lovingly restored. The owners are friendly and so easy to communicate with. We had the freedom to make our wedding ours whilst feeling that we were completely supported and looked after on the day. Our friends and family were blown away by the venue and it makes for a beautiful backdrop for wedding photos.



We had visited a few venues before a friend recommended Pynes House, the driveway and then the stunning building took our breath away. As we walked through each room we fell more in love with the venue. It was perfect, and not only was it an incredible venue, we had 12 rooms for our friends and family to join us on Friday and Saturday.



When we confirmed Pynes House, Kate was extremely helpful. Emails were answered quickly and we never felt as though we were a pain, Kate is clearly well prepared for all scenarios and is super helpful.



We loved that Pynes House had no restrictions apart from the catering. Even the catering, I mean, the three options were amazing, I don’t know that we would have wanted to pick anyone else. We loved that there was no corkage, which meant we could have our friends and family enjoy drinks over the course of the weekend without worrying about the cost or what they would drink, as we could cater for their favourite drinks at reasonable prices.



Although we picked our own suppliers and arranged everything ourselves, we felt we were well supported by Kate and we used a couple of their recommended suppliers. On the day we met with our ‘on the day coordinator’ and it put our minds at ease that our wishes for the day would be followed and coordinated on the day and that we would be looked after too!



Our friends and family were blown away by the venue, the day went perfectly, we couldn’t ask for more.



As we said goodbye to Kate and drove away from Pynes House on Sunday morning, still very much on cloud nine, we couldn’t help but hope that we got to attend another event at Pynes House. We will be recommending Pynes House to everyone we can think of in the hope we get to celebrate again in this amazing venue.

I have to say that while attending a gorgeous wedding at this venue, I thought it was a wonderful tranquil spot to have a wedding. The house and grounds are spectacular and the Rose garden is perfect. With the fountain and seating for people to rest and take in the ambience of the surrounding countryside. A lovely venue for any wedding .

Had the pleasure of a tour of this magnificent historical building and it certainly does not disappoint. You can’t help but feel it’s history as you look around, and it certainly makes for a fantastic wedding venue. Plenty of parking and very private for that exclusive feel. I think its such a treat to be able to book places like this to get married in, and long may it continue for generations to come!

The house itself is utterly beautiful and has been restored to an impeccable standard - but it's been done so in a contemporary, fresh style in perfect harmony with the period features.



Coupled with this, Kate and Heather were incredible helping us with everything we needed. They were so flexible, we could really put our own stamp on things so it felt unique to us.



I've even had friends say people at their offices were asking about the wedding when they got back. The day blew us away. It was everything we dreamt of.
