What a fabulous theatre and what a fabulous time we've all had at the Pantomime (Jack and the beanstalk) well done everyone we've loved every minute of it

User

We visited today to see the Milkshake Live show, myself & my daughter who's 5. The staff were all so welcoming & friendly. The lady who greeted us on the door was so lovely, she was very helpful and made my daughter feel special by mentioning her dress up outfit. Wouldn't hesitate to come and visit again if there's something on for us

User

Two weeks running we’ve had a fab night here. Staff are friendly and helpful. Music before and during interval is good, easy to sing along to and the entertainment first class.

Thank you.

User

Loved the venue, the only downside was the long wait at the bar for a drink. Took nearly an hour to get served. The staff were lovely and polite but run ragged trying to serve people quickly.

User

High Kings last night - an amazing Irish band who work so hard and put on a brilliant show! Staff did a great job and good to see a good few allowed to dance at the front. I think it would be a good idea to have less seats and people would get into it a bit more, thia sort of music should have people on their feet the phone time but often only near the end do people stand up and dance!! Great venue tho and great gig!

User

Great venue. Excellent sound. Marc Almond was great. ..as ever!

Just wish artists/venues would chill on the camera/filming rule. You're not going to stop it so just chill. It's like shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted....

The poor lady next to us was running up and down as if her pants were on fire!! What a waste of time and effort.

Well done for allowing people up front to dance. We may be older pop fans but we're not dead yet! I stayed at my seat but loved watching the more adventurous of us get up front....

User

Great venue with friendly staff. I saw In The Heights there yesterday and was blown away with the set and the lighting. Good acoustics both in this and the previous show which was the bagpipes/rock group Red Hot Chilli Pipers all the way from Glasgow.

Really enjoyed my night and I had a good chuckle plus felt myself moving with the music! Looking forward to seeing Pinked Floyd in a few weeks time.

User

Great venue ,brill staff ,cannot fault them ,brill atmosphere and most of all a brill artist in shakin Stevens , we had an awesome night , the staff was very helpful as I am disabled and the venue didn't have a lift to get upstairs they transfered me to the floor , and helped me to the toilets and back when I needed to , and very polite x

User

Great place !

Always watching for the next show I fancy

User

Easily accessible with good parking nearby. Well organised and friendly staff. Concert was one of the best ever (Xander and the Pirates, Bad Touch, The Steve Nimmo Trio and Joanne Shaw Taylor) for the Summer time Festival. Real value for money and great acoustics as all these old halls have. Would not hesitate to go again.

User

Been here a few times now, the staff are excellent, always happy to help xx

Great high stage, as being in a wheelchair your view can get taken by people standing up dancing, but not here xxxx

User

Attended for the 1st time yesterday for the Summertime Festival travelling from Newcastle. Found the staff to be very friendly, venue great, no problems getting a drink, plenty of toilets. Would definitely return.

User

Absolutely loved Jimeoin tonight. Great set. Loved every minute xxxx

User

Really enjoyed the show. Listen, this isn't the MEN or Echo Arena, it's a great venue for a gig like Marc Almond although due to the promoters request all the bars were closed from the beginning of the show which was a major disappointment after organising travel around being able to have a few drinks. The sound system on the upper level could be improved but all in all I'd be happy to return for a future event.

User

Loved watching the Bee Gees story .... You Win Again .... great show. Would not recommend sitting on front row on the balcony unless directly opposite the stage. The restricted view ( bar at eye level around the balcony) does hamper the view....... was fine when we stood up to dance though

User

I visited Parr Hall with my sister whom is in a wheelchair, staff very attentive and showed us to our seats and explained how to get the key for the toilet. Excellent show from Shakey and will certainly go back.

User

We went to watch Dave spikey, the venue is always too warm and the seat too close together with not much legroom but is local and has some good acts playing there.

We enjoyed Dave's sense of humour and appreciated a lot of his jokes.

User

My first visit to the Parr Hall and I won't be rushing back. Good view of the stage (Circle Row H) but uncomfortable seats. Circle bar was far too small for the size of the audience and the acoustics abysmal - though that may have been the fault of the FOH sound engineer.

User

Great show , lovely atmosphere and great views, however the venue does need some sort of rethink and revamp. To go to the bar you have to edge through people, then the only place to stand was in a corridor, we wanted to chat with friends and had to upgrade from outside the ladies toilets, to outside the disabled toilet as there was more room to stand!

Maybe it needs a bit of money spending on it so you have a more pleasant evening in nicer surroundings, but overall a great place for a concert.
